SESSION ON HAPPINESS

A great initiative was taken by CT PUBLIC SCHOOL to organise an interactive session on "Happiness”, for the faculty members ,conducted by Mr. Rishabh Sharma ,a certified NLP Practitioner by the Academy of Modern Applied Psychology,UK.

Our worthy Principal mam, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal,Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur welcomed the speaker with a small token of love by presenting him the bouquet and also thanked our guest for giving his valuable time to conduct the session.

It was an interactive session where teachers were engaged to do so many fun filled activities. He emphasised on the Importance of team work, Empathy and Sense of belongingness.

It was a wonderful session and life changing experience for the teachers and they were happy that they were going to improvise all these key points of happiness in their life.

MANGO PARTY IN CT KINDERGARTEN

It was a perfect day to celebrate the season of the king of fruits, “MANGO” with a fun-filled learning opportunity in the form of a Mango Party. The whole school campus was decorated in yellow in tune with the theme of the party. The children of the pre-primary section came dressed in shades of yellow and the “Mango Party” mania was kicked off by reciting different rhymes on mango.

Having thoroughly enjoyed the day, children left the school with smiles glued to their face, as a reminder of the fun-n-learn mango party, they had enjoyed immensely at school.

Honourable Principal ma’am, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel, Vice Principal ma’am, Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur joined the mango party with the tiny tots and the children had great fun eating the mangoes in the school campus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

INTER HOUSE COLLAGE MAKING COMPETITION

"The aim of art is to represent not the outward appearance of things, but their inward significance."

Collage has been one of the most relevant forms of art making. It’s resonant because it is made of stuff that we see every day. It’s familiar and it reflects our reality.

CT Public School always encourages its students to display their hidden talent through various co-curricular activities.

The best way to develop learning through creativity is to let children use a variety of materials and give them time to create an art on their own. With this thought in mind, CT Public School organized an Inter House Collage making competition on 30th May, 2023 for the Seniors- grades ( IX to XII) and Juniors- Grades (VI to VIII)

The children were allowed to use various materials to create a collage on the theme “Say No ToTobacco”.

A great team work , spirit and enthusiasm was seen in the students during the event. They used a variety of material to create the collages. The efforts of the students were remarkable.

Honourble Principal Ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel adjudged the participants for creativity, theme and presentation.

Kalpana Chawla House claimed the top notch whereas Mother Teresa House and Nelson Mandela House bagged the second and third position respectively in the Senior Category while in Junior Category Mother Teresa House bagged first position and Kalpana Chawla House and APJ Abdul Kalam House got second and third position respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, worthy Principal Ma'am said that these competitions revitalise the learners and boost them up to face the challenges of their lives. She congratulated the winners and lauded the teaching faculty who facilitated the budding artists to link their imagination and creativity.

 

 

 

Parent Teacher Meeting

Today CT Kindergarten organised the Parent Teacher Meeting .The purpose of this meet was to discuss the performance of students of regular studies and brief the parents about holidays assignment . The teachers discussed all the forthcoming activities, events and unit tests which will commence after the vacation. It was a great interaction between the teachers and the parents for the development of their children where they discussed both the strengths and areas of improvements.

The joint efforts, mutual understanding and co-operation of parents and teachers is very important for the proper nourishment and progress of students.

The worthy Chairman of CT Group, S.Charanjit Singh Ji Channi was also present during the PTM and he interacted with parents and asked their feedback for the better functioning of the school.

Honourable Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal, Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur interacted with the parents about the students performance and wished them all the best for their summer vacation.

Dental Checkup in school

A smile is a curve that sets everything straight.
A dental checkup camp was held in CT Public School on Tuesday, May 30, 2023.
A team of dentists from Clove Dental came for the dental checkup of the students of classes 1 to 10+2 where the students benefitted from this camp.
The doctor, Ms. Vishakha, from Clove Dental along with her team brought well-equipped dental tools to examine the students well.
They spoke to the students about the importance of oral and dental care and explained in detail about the root cause of the dental and oral health problems. The students were further briefed about how to avoid toothache related problems.
The students also had a question and answer session with the doctors to resolve their queries based on dental hygiene. They gave referral slips for those students who needed further treatment. The camp turned out to be very beneficial for our students.

The Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel said that the camp will bring a change in behavior of the students and they would now start taking preventive measures to avoid dental and oral problems.

Doodling Activity

 *Doodling is an activity that kids take up unknowingly when they are not able to pay attention to do something else*.

Children can start learning about doodling activity right from when they are toddlers.

The concept as a whole is an excellent way to help them develop the small muscles in their hands.

It naturally satisfies a toddler’s curiosity.

It’s a great way for them to explore their senses and learn about holding the crayons.

The feeling of touching the colours, its texture and the opportunity to do the work with precision. This activity is also helpful for the eye hand coordination of a pre schooler. Children also enjoy free hand movement of crayons as it enables them to have fun with colours.

 

Morning Assembly

The morning sets the day and the assembly paves the way for our students to rejuvenate their spirits, remain rooted to the moral values and unleash their vitality.

FIRST POSITION IN SAHODAYA INTER SCHOOL FACE PAINTING COMPETITION BY THE STUDENT

The Inter School Sahodya “FACE PAINTING” competition was held in Cambridge International School, Nakodar on 27.05.2023. The theme for the Category-1 was 'Road Safety' and for Category-2 was 'War and Peace'. The students of CT Public School participated in Category-1 (Kavya Ahuja and Krisha Ahuja of grade IX ) and Category-2 ( Disha and Khushi).We bagged FIRST POSITION in first category.
More than 30 CBSE schools from Jalandhar and surrounding areas had participated in the event. This event helped the students to bring out their creative ideas and talents. It was really a creative competition which exhibited the artistic skills of the students.

Our honourble Principal Ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel congratulated the winners and appreciated the efforts put in by their teachers (Ms.Bhawna Arora and Ms.Poonam Sabharwal).

Hostel Silver Night

Aiming at all-round personality development of students in CT Hostel, our mission is to develop right skills, positive attitude, leadership qualities along with a sense of discipline, dedication to duty and commitment in every student.
Keeping this in view, Silver Night, a cultural programme by the hostellers was celebrated on 27th May’23 in the school auditorium.
Honourable Chairman of school, S.Charanjit Singh Channi, Co Chairperson ma’am,Mrs.Parminder Kaur Channi, Worthy ma’am, Mrs.Tanika Channi, Principal ma’am, Mrs.Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal, Mrs.Sukhdeep Kaur graced the occasion with their presence. The program commerce’s with the lighting of ceremonial lamp, followed by Gayatri Mantra.The hostellers presented Shahad, Ganesh Vandana,a series of dances, followed by ramp walk,newspaper dance,skit and solo songs.Bhangra and cake cutting ceremony were the highlights of the programme. Honourable co chairperson ma’am presented her message and appreciated all the students for their stupendous efforts.

She said that in pursuit of excellence in all spheres of human activity, hostel life provides the boarders various opportunities to enjoy not only a sense of togetherness but to become awakened and empowered individuals so that they may actively respond to the momentous issues of society and socio- political environment of the world.
Life in CT hostel invites the boarders to enjoy their sojourn in a home away from home in the most fruitful and truly memorable way.

COUNSELING SESSION ON GENERAL BEHAVIOUR

A good counselor can help students to grow up with better decision making skills, whether it is academic, personal or professional.

Unlike the traditional methods that focus more on paper works at school background, our honourble Principal Ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel always comes up with innovative ways to meet the needs of all students and to maximize their academic achievement.

She organized a counseling session on general behavior for senior students of CT Public School on 25th May, 2023.

(M.A English, Psychology M.Ed UGC/NET Qualified) and Dr Rajneesh.
They provided them with awareness about the changing world and prepared them to face even the worst expected.

Kudos to the winners of Face Painting and Poster Making Competition

This year’s International Day for Biodiversity is a strong call for all of us to walk the talk when it comes to protecting our biodiversity areas. It’s theme, “From Agreement to Action: Build Back Biodiversity,” holds meaning as it prompts to rejuvenate our passion, commitment and hope for the future generation with the adoption of the different ways by which we can protect our biodiversity.
Pushpa Gujral Science City celebrated international day for biological diversity on May 22,2023 .The Programme was conducted by Punjab biodiversity board in collaboration with Science city. Several schools Participated in face painting and poster making competition with a theme : From Agreement To Action : Build Back Biodiversity. Director of Pushpa Gujral Science City Dr.Rajesh Grover explained different ways and projects to protect our biodiversity to students. Dr.Renu Bhardwaj from Botanical and Environmental Sciences from , GNDU Amritsar, the guest of honor for the event shared her valuable views about conservation of biodiversity with students.Students of CT Public school participated in the event headed by Ms.Dheeru Narang. Shreya of class Eleven science won the first prize in poster making. Tushti of class Ninth and Yangdol of class Eleven won the second prize in face tattoos making competitions. Awards were distributed to the winning participants and certificates of participation were distributed to all the participating students.
Honourable Principal,Mrs.Anuradha Chandel appreciated the efforts of the students and congratulated the winners of the competition.Ma'am emphasised that biodiversity must be conserved for the future generations.

Seesion on Internet of Things

CT Public School ardently believes in making the education process more creative and interactive. We formulate an engaging curriculum through a constructive, comprehensive, practical, and futuristic teaching system.
A Session on Iot (Internet of Things) was conducted by Mr. Maniraj (IT Trainer, CTITR) with the guidance of Mr. Inderpal (HOD, CSE, CTITR) in our school ATL Lab for the students of Classes 6th to 10th.
It was amazing to see the level of enthusiasm and engagement from the students during the session. The Principal, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel added that such training session will give hands on experience to the students which is demand of Today's world.

CT SCHOOL BAND:- OUR PROUD POSSESSION

CT Public School has its own band. The students play instruments like Bass drums, Side drums, Bugle , Flute and Trumpet. Our band members enjoy and wear their band uniform with pride and joy! The band is led by the band master holding a large baton. It leads the march past during various events and important functions of the school.

The mission of the School Band is to provide a quality music education to our students. Our goal is to develop quality through our focus on each individual performer.

The students gain a sense of belonging, teamwork, time management, dedication, self-discipline, leadership, cooperation, and responsibility. In addition, we strive to help students build skills that will allow them to be valuable members of society.

 

Mother's Day Celebrations

To make this event more festive, a wonderful celebration was organised by CT Kindergarten. The Mothers were given floral welcome and the function began with welcome speech and Sarswati Vandana. Mothers rocked on dance beats and showcased their competitive spirit. Modelling was another exciting feature where mothers got an opportunity to walk on ramp

where mothers presented their talent along with their wards. Last but not the least fun games were organised for the mothers to make the event more exciting and enjoyable.

Honourable Management, Our Co Chairperson ,Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi ji, worthy Principal Ma’am and Vice Principal Ma’am graced the occasion with full enthusiasm. The function culminated with the prize distribution to the winners. The mothers were happy for the appreciation and recognition which they received in this memorable event.

Nothing could be compared to a mother's love in this world as it is the purest form of love. Mother is like an angel for her child, who always loves her child and supports him/her. MOVIE TIME WITH POPCORN

CT Kindergarten children enjoyed the taste of freshly popped popcorn! The Popcorns were made in electric popping system uses hot air instead of oil, producing a Light and healthy snack. Enjoy the fresh taste of hot popcorn in minutes!

Kids also had great fun watching motivational movie and relished Popcorn .

It was a great enjoyment for the students.

 

 

 

Music classes conducted for UKG

Music helps in creating peace and tranquility in the human mind. Children at the tender age can learn music with great zeal. Music and songs were taught to students of CT kindergarten, under the guidance of their music teacher, Mrs. Kiran. Music always gives relaxation to our body and soul.So music and dance periods are an essential part of the curriculum at CT Public School.

OATH ADMINISTERED AT THE INVESTITURE CEREMONY AT CT PUBLIC SCHOOL

The Student Council of CT Public School formally takes the oath of office at the solemn and sacred Investiture Ceremony, where they promise to uphold the values and traditions of this great Institution, pledging to take it to even greater heights! It is indeed a milestone in their lives ! When the students take their oath at the Investiture they make a vow to always keep the faith, to stand for what is just and right, to be upright and honest in all their actions.
