Letter recognition refers to the ability to identify individual letters of the alphabet. It is an essential skill for children to develop as it is the foundation for learning to read and write.
Nursery class did letter recognition activity. Letter recognition is important because it enables beginning readers to figure out how printed text is associated with the spoken language. Having a mastery of letter names can make learning letter sounds easier for young readers. The sounds of many letter names are closely related to the sound the letter makes.
As children develop alphabet knowledge, they learn to recognize and name upper- and lowercase letters. They also discover that there are sounds associated with each letter. Children's early writing progresses from making marks and scribbling to drawing, and eventually to forming letters.

HarperCollins Publishers India and Vedanta Ltd. partner has launched a nationwide plantation drive 'Plant a Tree; Grow a Future'. They visited CT Public School for this purpose on 24th July, 2023.
This plantation drive is conducted to motivate & inspire children to champion the cause of protecting the environment.
Worthy Principal ma'am Mrs Anuradha Chandel said that trees are an investment for future generations, providing cleaner air and natural shade.We hope that this drive will not only help in increasing the green cover, but also encourage to involve students in larger discussions around the need for conservation and sustainability of trees.

A short awareness session on the personal hygiene for girls was conducted at C T PUBLIC School by Jagnit Kaur, a member of Proctor and Gamble ,a leading MNC company on 25th July, 2023. This session aims to demonstrate the importance of maintaining good personal hygiene and illustrate the importance of comprehensive cleaning to maintain a good health and a better personality in the society.
Students understood the importance of personal hygiene.They also learnt about the significance of proper nutrition, regular exercise, mental wellness and the importance of maintaining personal hygiene.

Inline and roller sports skating activities require balance and strength as well as some judgment and the desire to avoid obstacles. The students must have..

A Class Representative (CR) act as a prime official channel of communication between teacher and rest of the class. It is a leadership role- a special privilege and honor. It prepares students as future leaders.
On July20, 2023, Honourable Principal of CT Public School , Mrs. Anuradha Chandel organized a meeting with class monitors from grade 6 to grade 10.The purpose of this meeting was to provide students with school general information. In addition, principal ma’am m explained to all the roles, duties and responsibilities of class monitors because they are the team leaders, well-behaved students and responsible in the class for tasks assigned by their class teachers.

Movies are not only a source of entertainment. They are an immensely powerful medium that can educate and influence young minds, widening their canvas and helping them build a strong value system.
As a part of our educational trips, the students of CTPS hostel from Nursery to class 12th were taken for
the Punjabi film ‘Kade Dade Diyan Kade Pote Diyan' on Thursday ,20th July to Sarb Multiplex along with their hostel teachers.
The movie depicts the generation gap between parents and children. The day became more memorable for the children when Our honorable Co-Chairperson Ma’am ,Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi joined them along with Our Worthy Principal ma’am, Mrs. Anuradha Chandel.
The objective of the visit was to give an exposure to a new experience, to make the children learn the appropriate behaviour at a public place, to greet others and thank people who help us and also to enhance the vocabulary of the little ones.
The children had a memorable time, watching the movie with their friends.In the interval students were offered popcorn and eatables. There were some heartfelt, poignant moments and plenty of laughs.
Children thoroughly enjoyed watching the movie. It was a fun-filled day with a great learning experience for them.

Pre- Nursery class kids did wonderful activity of seed pasting.
Seed pasting activity helps a child explore their creative side and express themselves artistically. It is a sensory activity that aims to develop fine motor skills and pincer grip. It also improves order, concentration, coordination and independence. It helps a child to develop fine motor skills.
It improves hand-eye coordination. The child learns to concentrate and focus. It enhances a child’s visual perception and discovers their inner artist.
Swimming, is recreation and sports, the propulsion of the body through water by combined arm and leg motions and the natural flotation of the body. Swimming as an exercise is popular as an all-around body developer and is particularly useful in therapy and as exercise.
CT Kindergarten LKG class students had great time today in the swimming pool. Tiny tots are always involved in such type of activities where they can grow freely. The students were taught how to resist in the water for longer time. They were given proper guidance by the swimming coach of C T Public School.
Principal Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal mam Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur also appreciated the fun time which the little children had today in the pool.

On 19th July, 2023, CT Global Education Services organized a workshop on IELTS and Effective Communication Skills for the students of CT Public School. The resource person was Ms. AnuKiran Khanna, Founder CEO of Spynmark.
Effective communication skills are essential for students as they play a vital role in shaping their academic, personal and professional success.
Thus the focus of the workshop was to enable the students to use their interactions to its maximum potential, to be able to communicate thoughts effectively and to understand clearly the messages sent from others.
The workshop covered topics like the importance of communicating effectively and the difference between mere communication and doing the same effectively. Its importance as a student and in professional life henceforth was stressed upon, especially to succeed in interviews.
The students enjoyed filling the worksheets and participating in the fun activities that created insight. They were attentive and responsive. Overall a very good feedback was received from the students for the workshop.

Every year on 7th July, chocolate fans worldwide celebrate World Chocolate Day. The purpose of this day is to raise awareness about the importance of quality chocolate and celebrate the deliciousness of this treat. World Chocolate Day is the perfect occasion to treat yourself to some chocolatey goodness and enjoy it guilt-free.
Chocolates are the symbol of love and sweetness, to spread the message of love among the teacher's and the students chocolate day was celebrated at CT Kindergarten. The play group students participated in this celebration. The tiny tots were overwhelmed to eat their favourite chocolates. Students enjoyed the day with fun and gifted chocolates to each other.The joy of celebrating chocolate day with their classmates was seen on the gleaming faces as the tiny tots enjoyed taste and sweetness of chocolates . Honourable Principal Mrs. Anuradha Chandel and Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur also participated in this wonderful activity they distributed chocolates to the students and relished the taste of chocolate with the tiny tots.
