JANAMASHTMI CELEBRATED WITH FERVOR

Lord Krishna blessed the little angels of CT Kindergarten who celebrated Janamashtmi with great devotion and fervor. The festival was celebrated on the eve of the birthday of Lord Krishna who was born in Mathura, UP, and marks the beginning of a string of festivals that come in succession in the month of Shravana and brings great moments of joy and happiness for the people. Everybody, from tiny-tots to teachers were attired in colourful garbs and danced to the tunes of bhajans  of Lord Krishna, Radha and the Gopies.

Various dramas, plays, hymns and songs marked the occasion depicting the life style of Lord Krishna. Besides this, it was an attempt to impart holistic education to the students and to make them aware about the various aspects of Lord Krishna’s life. Principal Mrs Ranjana Rajput enlightened the audience with the life and teachings of Lord Krishna.
Cultural items like ‘Raasleela’, hymns, bhajans, dance-drama, medley, Matki ceremony and Jhoola ceremony were also organized to make it a memorable event. Students, through various poems, shared about the flirtatious nature of Lord Krishna’s youthful days and his immense love for butter and milk. Dramatic enactments like ‘Bal-Leela’ and other dance-dramas were some of the most enjoyable events of the day. Apart from this, lord Krishna was made to squat in a beautifully decorated swing and all the students were enthralled and excited to lend a hand in swaying it with love, devotion and affection.  Matki ceremony was enjoyed enthusiastically by little angels.
The celebration ended with the distribution of Prasad to everyone present on the occasion and a valedictory ceremony.

CT PLEDGES TO SAVE THE EARTH FROM HEADING TOWARDS EXTINCTION ON INDEPENDENCE DAY

CT Public School celebrated the 66th Independence Day in the school premises to mark India’s Independence from the clutches of the British who ruled over our motherland for 200 years after inflicting great atrocities on the Indians. Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group of Institutions was the Chief Guest on the occasion. He was given a wonderful floral shower and a bouquet accompanied with the invigorating tune of the bagpipers. The program began with a patriotic group song sung by the primary students.

The flag hoisting ceremony took place with the sound of the bugles ringing in the air. A beautiful Nukkad Natak or street play was performed by the students imparting the message to the world that the Earth is on the verge of extinction as man who is considered the most dangerous animal on earth is gnawing at the very vitals of the earth because of his ruthless attitude towards nature, animals, birds, girls and even moral values and culture.

He considers his supremacy over all the other creatures and forgets that he shares this planet with them.  This street play came in the form of a competition among the four houses of the school. The students performed the Nukkad Natak with great devotion and vibrancies and were successful in conveying the message of love for the fellow creatures and saving the planet from extinction. The students pledged that they would perform their duty to safeguard their planet for the future generation.  It was a tough competition as all the participants rendered their role in a very expressive and wonderful manner.

Kindergarten and primary students sang patriotic song with great dedication and a colourful folk dance was also presented. After all the presentations, the Chief Guest Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi in his Presidential address, applauded the participants for their exuberant performance and exhorted the students to move on the path of righteousness and not let the struggle of the freedom fighters go waste.

Dr. Manoj Kumar, CT Group Director also addressed the students and advised them to fight against the vices prevalent in our country. Principal, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput presented the vote of thanks and appreciated the wonderful performance and earnest efforts made by the students and teachers. In the end the National Anthem was sung with great fervour and devotion and sweets were distributed to the children.
