Ananya Brings Laurels to the School

Ananya Sachdeva brought laurels to the school when he won a gold medal in the Slogan Writing Competition held at Lala Jagat Narain School under the aegis of Sahodaya Independent Schools, Jalandhar in which about 80 students participated.  The students wrote beautiful slogans highlighting the problems prevalent in the society.

Face painting competition organized in CTPS

Inter House Face Painting Competition was organized in CT Public school in which students participated with great zeal and enthusiasm. The theme of the competition was extinction. The students worked on this theme very passionately and enlightened the students about the callous and reckless behavior of man towards nature resulting in the extinction of various species of animals and birds. Globalization has resulted in the declination of moral values and culture. The students expressed their feelings and emotions very artistically. The students painted the faces of tigers, peacocks, girl child etc. to send a message across to save them from extinction. Rashi of Rose House bagged the first position, Harmanpreet Singh of Lotus House stood second while Shefali of Jasmine and Kanika of Marigold House bagged the third position. Mrs. Ranjana Rajput, Principal, CT Public School congratulated the winners and expressed her concern for nature and said we should save and protect nature for the new generation as we human beings don’t  have the sole right on Earth, it also belongs to animals and birds.

CT BAGS POSITION IN FANCY DRESS

 Fancy dress competition was organized by Baba Lalavani public school, Kapurthala on 7th sept under the aegis of sahodaya  independent  schools in which more than 40 CBSE school participated. Manya Sharma a UKG sudent of CT public school dressed as mini mouse of the Disney world bagged 3rd position with her beautiful attire and expressions brought into life, this cartoon diva and enthralied the audience her performance was greately applauded by all and she made her school, teachers and parents feel elated.Mrs Ranjana Rajput, Principal CT public school congratulated the parents and teachers for their efforts and expressed that all the students have hidden talents which should be probed in by the teachers.

APEEJAY COLLEGE OF FINE ARTS organized a Tech-Fest 2013 in which 22 Students participated from which Karamjot of +2(Non-Med) got 3rd Position in GUSTAKHI MAAF competition and Rashi of 9th B and Yashana of 9th-A got 3rd Position in SCULPTURE MAKING competition. CTians shines in Football Tournament

A Football Tournament (under-12 category) held in IVY World School on 5th and 6th Oct 2013 . In this total 16 teams participated namely -- Police DAV , CT Public school , Suman Day Boarding school, Cambridge Gems Hoshiarpur, Cambridge Dasuya, State Public School, MGN Public Jalandhar,DIPS Dhilwan etc. The players of C T Public School played 5 matches out of which 3 were the league and 2 semifinals based on knock out basis. The final match was played between C T Public School and Police DAV School. and CTians won the RUNNNERS - UP Trophy.

RULES AND REGULATIONS FOR SAHODAYA CRICKET TOURNAMENT

 RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Matches up to Quarter Finals will be of 15 overs.

2. Matches at Semi-final and final level will be of 20 overs.

3. A maximum time given to each team to bowl 15 overs will be 75 mins. After that 1 over penalty for each 5 min. will be imposed.

4. Players wearing complete white kit will only be allowed to play, others will not be   entertained.

5. Umpire’s decision will be considered as final decision.

6. Objection (if any) will be entertained if it is given in writing with objection fee Rs.500/-.No objection will be entertained after the conclusion of match.

7. If a team does not report within 15 min. from the given scheduled time than the opposite team will be awarded walk over.

8. Refreshments will be provided during match.

9. I-cards and original (ATTESTED) documents supporting school Performa of players will be checked before every match.

10. No team will be entertained without their coach/manager.

11. The Coach/ Manager is responsible for any In disciplinary action by the team/player.

CTPS Karate Team Clinches Bronze

 A team of CT Public School participated in North India Karate Competition held on September 29, in Bhupinder Global School at Malerkotla. Our karate enthusiasts. Paramveer Singh and Bhavish Prabhakar, both students of Grade IX bagged bronze medals in the Kumitte event of under – 15 age category.

                          

Their moves, both offensive and defensive were immensely appreciated by the judges. Trained by Mr Sudesh Kumar,karate coach, they made their school proud and set an example for the students to adopt Karate as self-defence to shield and protect themselves from untoward incidents. The Principal , Mrs Ranjana Rajput congratulated the winners and the coach for their success.
