Keeping the same belief in mind, our diligent CTians, Gurkanwal Singh Saini through his efforts bagged Third Position and Jai Chopra got Consolation Prize in Dainik Jagran Saskarshala Exam. Principal of the school, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput congratulated him for his success.
Apr 18, 2015The Kindergarten students of CT Public School were taken to wheat fields. Golden and ready to harvest wheat was appreciated by the young ones and they earnestly listened when their teachers told them that this is the source of their bread, biscuits, chapattis and puris!
It was an effort to bring the young ones close to nature. This nature walk was a big success as the faces of all the students were having contented look. They asked various questions from their Incharge of K.G. Wing, Mrs. Neena Sethi. Principal, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput said that such activies have been made part of Activity Calender so that students can get first hand experience of things around them.
Apr 11, 2015To invoke the blessings of the Almighty, a Sukhmani Sahib Path was organised for students, staff and management at CT Public School.
It was done to mark the commencement of the new session 2015-16. Chairman S. Charanjit Singh Channi, Co-Chairperson Mrs. Parminder Channi and Principal Mrs. Ranjana Rajput welcomed and congratulated the students for their good performance in their previous classes and wished them good luck for the new session.
One of the biggest fundraising events in the Punjab, 8th CT Half Marathon kick-started this morning at 7:00 am where people from all sections of the society ran in the 2015 edition. The marathon saw more than 10,000 people swarming the streets of Jalandhar.
The flag off ceremony was conducted by Legendary Folk Singer Gurdas Maan and Renowned RJ & Bigg Boss Fame Pritam Singh at CT Shahpur Campus. The renowned personalities also lead the race. Legendary Folk Singer Gurdas Maan said that Marathon is a wonderful step for social cause. It gives the donation, social activity at the same time it boosts for physical fitness. I really appreciate this effort of CT Group of Institutions.
The other major attraction was the LIVE performance by leading Punjabi stars Garry Sandhu, Ranjit Bawa, Jazz Dhami, Umang Sharma and TNP Band at CT Maqsudan Campus where they mesmerized the audience with their scintillating performances.
It is to mentions, CT Half Marathon is the only half marathon organized by any educational institutions in Punjab. They have also set a bench mark for the others to follow. This race for charity starts from CT Shahpur Campus to CT Maqsudan Campus (distance of 21.097494 Kms) and the proceeds of which are shared with the marginalized sectors of the society.
Top three winners from both Male and female categories were felicitated with the prize money Rs. 25000, Rs. 11000 and Rs. 5100 respectively. The prize money of Rs. 2100 is for next seven positions in both male and female category. The two positions were won by Monika Chaudhary and Ramesh.
This commendable noble attempt on the part of CT Group has also encouraged the physically challenged students from Prayas (a School for Special students) participated in the race. There was a special 100 m race for their students at CT Maqsudan Campus. Attractive prizes were given to the winners for both male and female category and other participating students of Prayas as a token of encouragement and appreciation.
To meet the FIRSTAID and other medical assistance, the students and staff members of CT Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (CTIPS) registered their presence at every 1Kms of the race.
Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director, CT Group of Institutions) said, “This event is totally dedicated to our society. Everyone should come up and be part of this race to encourage the message to support the physically challenged persons.”

Mar 3, 2015To cherish the precious moments of success and to herald the achievement of tiny tots the Kindergarten Graduation Ceremony was organized at Kindergarten wing of CT Public School amidst fun and excitement.
The program was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Co-Chairperson, C.T. Group of Institutions. Mrs. Tanika Channi was the Guest of Honour of the event. Mrs. Ranjana Rajput (Principal, CT Public School) accorded warm welcome to the Guests of Honour and parents of the students who passed out from the Kindergarten to senior wing with new hopes and aspirations.
The ceremony began with an invocation to the Almighty with Ganesh Vandana. There was a modelling session for the students amidst dances and song which were dedicated to them. A message to donate blood was infused among the audience. Rehana shared her memories and experiences in the Kindergarten. Khushdeep Kaur expressed her views on the "Save Girl Child Campaign". A special cake ceremony was also arranged to sweeten their memories.
It was a moment of celebration and pride for tiny tots attired in adorable robes and tassels who walked down the aisle to receive their Graduation Certificates and gifts amidst loud applause. The parents were proud to see their little graduates exuding with confidence. They thanked the teachers for ably nurturing the talents of their kids.
While delivering her speech, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput (Principal, CT Public School) stressed on the need to give good education to children from their early age. Everybody wished them luck as they stepped into the formal education. She thanked all the prestigious guests for sharing their valuable time & encouraging the tiny CTians in her Vote of Thanks.
Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-chairperson, CT Group of Institutions) addressed the parents and reminded the parents about the achievements of the school. According to her CT Public School is imparting a quality education comprising of moral values, sports, culture and academics. Mrs. Channi congratulated the parents on the success of their children and asked them to treat children with compassion and care in this modern gadget world. In her speech, she sought the assistance of parents for a complete grooming of the children. Parents applauded the efforts pitched in by the school staff in polishing their children for their life ahead.
Rashi Singh of Class X bagged the Second Prize in Cognizance, a scrapbook competition organised by The Tribune. In the same competition, Kunwarvir Lehri of Class VII bagged a consolation prize. Heartiest Congratulations to them!!!!

Mr. Vikas Chadha, the PGT, Physical Education of CT Public School has contributed a lot in the field of Games & Sports. It is heartening to place on record that Mr. Vikas Chadha has upgraded to B grade Umpire by Punjab Cricket Association.

The boys of CT Public School proved their mettle at the under-19 boy's T-20 Invitational inter-school Cricket Tournament that was held at Lovely Professional University. As many as 26 schools from North India took part in the tournament. The lads defeated their rival Schools by putting up a scintillating performance and took the team to the victory.

Science exhibitions are the breeding grounds for those young folks with an inclination to nurture an idea, permit it to spread its wings, critically analyse it, and finally apply the knowledge so gained to develop A product / concept.
CT Public School added a new chapter in its golden history by winning Regional Level CBSE Science Exhibition which was held at Sankriti KMV School, Jalandhar. Around 100 CBSE Schools of Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir participated in it. The main theme of this year exhibition is ‘Scientific and Mathematical Innovations’ and subthemes are Agriculture, Energy, Health, Environment and Resources. 150 models were exhibited under different themes. Out of these 15 models were selected for National Level Science Exhibition. Our school took part in Sub theme Environment and Resources with model “Low cost fuel by Ethanol”- An eco-friendly substitute of Petrol which is able to run engine of 2 wheeler and four wheeler vehicles. This model is selected for the National level CBSE Science Exhibition. The school Principal Mrs. Ranjana Rajput appreciated the team members- Shivani Chaudhary of class XII & Simranpreet Kaur of Class XI for this great achievement. Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director of CT Group of Institutions, congratulated the Principal and the staff for their distinguished efforts & to make CTPS a launch pad for the future scientists.
2nd Capt. Mandeep Singh Harry Memorial State Open Tennis Tournament was held on 9th January, 2015 and lasted till 11th January, 2015. Wherein frantic efforts put in by our enthuastic player to glide CT Public School to glorious victory. Heatiest congratulations to Kiran Rajput for her commendable efforts.

CT Public School celebrated gala CT Carnival ‘14 on December 28, 2014 before going for Winter Break. Students had great fun enjoying various types of swings and a fun & frolic event with full zeal and zest at their campus premises.
The major attractions of the carnival were Baby Show, Fun Rides, stage Performances by parents and cuisines from 7 states of India- Goa, Gujarat, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Jammu & Kashmir, Assam and Rajasthan. There were enthusiastic performances by the parents of CT Kindergarten students including Modeling, Dances and Songs of different states of India.
The students of CT Public School performed Bhangra which took the Carnival attraction to another level of fun and excitement. There were exhilarating stalls like Photography, Soft Toys, DJ Stall which made everybody dance on their choice of song and many more. The host school managed to judge the stalls with the Most Organised Stall and Creative & innovative Stall titles.
The Judgement Criteria for the performances was based on the participation of the three generations (the student, parents & grandparents) while the Judgement of Baby Show was handled by the renowned doctors of the city for the Best Dressed Baby, Healthy Baby, Ravishing Smile, Chubby Cheeks, Attractive Eyes and Active Baby titles.
The another fun task was raffle tickets draw which included numerous prizes like LED, Air Fryer, Tablet , Microwave oven , DVD Player, Juicer mixer Grinder, Rice Cooker, Induction Cooker, Electric Tandoor, Dinner set and others.
Earlier, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput (Principal, CT Public School) welcomed the guests with Biguls and bouquet presentation. S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) and Mr. Ramesh Kumar (Manager, OBC Bank) inaugurated the function while Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi (Co-Chairperson), Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director) took out the draw. S. Charanjit Singh Channi thanked everyone in the end for making the function a great success.
Dec 28, 2014It is a matter of great pride that our school cricket team emerged victorious in I Chaman Lal Dada Memorial Cricket Tournament played at Sai Dass School Ground on December 28, 2014.
It was a matter of great honour that students of CT Public School participated in Harivallabh Sangeet Sammelan, one of the most prestigious and famous musical festivals of Asia. A group of 14 students from CT Public School gave a musical presentation in the form of SARASWATI VANDANA at the third day of this Sammelan.
The students of CT Public school were trained under the able guidance of Mrs. Rashmi Kohli & Mr.Harsimar Singh, the music teachers of the school.
Harivallabh Sangeet Mahasabha honoured the school team on the stage for their melodious presentation. It was a big honour for the young vocalists of CT Public School who performed at such a big platform and their dream has come true.
The CT Hostel has auspiciously celebrated the Christmas Eve with full fervor and zeal. It found the joy and tremendous happiness in students and teachers on this occasion. Students and Teachers made the occasion more wonderful by following the popular custom of celebrations, i.e. presenting Christmas speech and singing carols accompanied by lighting the candles to bring holiness of the eve made it more pleasant in the gathering.
The central attraction of the eve was the famous figure the Santa Claus, who made a sparkling, cheerful appearance in the gathering and which made the Christmas Eve a paradise in the Hostel. The school management and staff members felt very glad to celebrate the Christmas Eve with pleasurable and joyous way.
Co-Chairperson, Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Mrs. Tanika Channi and Principal of the school, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput took part in the celebrations and conveyed their Christmas wishes to the students and teachers. Mrs. Ranjana Rajput shared her valuable and wonderful message with the students which made the students fill their minds how to attain braveness from fear and make their minds lead from ignorance towards wisdom in their lives.
Dec 25, 2014CT Public School held its Annual Prize Distribution Function 2014 in the aesthetically decorated school campus on Saturday, December 20, 2014. It was an endeavor to acknowledge the continuing saga of glorious achievements of its students in the CBSE board Examination, Sports and various other fields.
The function was organised with a message to Save Electricity, Save Water, Always wear a helmet while driving and Keep Jalandhar Clean. Students gave the message to the citizens of Jalandhar with their performance of Nukkad Natak based on ‘Social Evils in Single frame,’ was the highlight of the event. The students portrayed and presented the presence of different social evils in the society.
The function commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, S. Charanjit Singh Channi (Chairman, CT Group of Institutions) alongwith Mrs. Parminder Kaur (Co-Chairperson), Mr. Manbir Singh (Managing Director), Dr. Manoj Kumar (Group Director) and Mrs. Ranjana Rajput (Principal, CT Public School).
This was followed by Shabad Gayan which was followed by the annual report presentation by the school Principal, Mrs. Ranjana Rajput. She highlighted the achievements in the field of academics, sports and co-curricular activities. She applauded the joint effort of the staff and students to make the function a grand success. The Chief Guest and other dignitaries gave away the prizes to 180 meritorious students of class X and XII. The students who played at state and national level in sports were also awarded at the event. Rashi Singh was announced as the student of the year and Lotus House as the Best House. The Best Dancer trophy was awarded to Agam Garg (Senior) and Loveliya (Junior), Best Artist to Srishti Mahajan (Senior) and Gulkeerat Kaur (Junior), Best Instrumentalist to Harmanpreet Singh (Senior) and Muskan Sachdeva (Junior), Best Orator to Aastha Khurana, Best Singer to Kajal (Senior) and Priyangu (Junior) alongwith Best in Dramatics and consistent players got honour at the event. Mentors and coaches were also honoured for their efforts in polishing the skills of students and motivating them for better results. The whole program was conducted by the students.

On day 2 of the Ganit Week, Essay Writing Competition was held in which students from classes VII to XII participated.
Students participated with full enthusiasm and zeal and wrote essays on the above topics.
