4th All India & 20th International UCMAS Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Comp

 4th All India & 20th International UCMAS Abacus & Mental Arithmetic Competition – 2015 was held in Delhi University in which around 10,000 students participated. It is a matter of great pride that Pranav Kapoor of II-B got II Runners Up Trophy in International Level & Merit certificate in National Level and Divyansh Kapoor of V-A got Third Runners Up Trophy in International Level & Merit certificate in National Level. Mr.Manbir Singh, Managing Director of CT Group of Institutions congratulate them for their grand success.

Mera Talent Meri Pehchan

 CT Public School hosted a talent hunt competition called Mera Talent Meri Pehchan in the school campus organized by Daksh Creations and Cannary Tones. Many children gave their auditions for participating in this competition which would be presented on ZEE Punjabi Channel. Children from various classes participated in this competition and presented their talent in dancing, singing, martial arts etc. The Principal Mrs. Ranjana Rajput and Vice Principal Mr. Gurteg Singh Saini congratulated the winners for their wonderful performance and urged all the students to participate in various competitions as every child has been blessed with some talent which should be tapped and groomed well.

Auditions by 92.7 BIG FM

 It was a proud moment for CT Public School when Sarabjit Singh, a student of Grade VIII was selected in the top five contestants at an audition conducted by 92.7 Big FM. Initially many students had participated in the audition and the top four students were selected for the studio round. In this round, these students had to compete with the children from other schools. Six best children from different schools were selected in which Sarabjit Singh was one of them.

These children recorded their programme and which are being aired on BIG FM. They have to make vote appeals for their victory in the competition. The winner will get an opportunity to host the programme on BIG 92.7 FM. The Principal Mrs. Ranjana Rajput and Vice Principal Mr. Gurteg Singh Saini congratulated the wonderful performance of the child and urged the students to vote for him.

Sahodaya Inter School Cricket Tournament

Accolades to Damandeep Singh

 Accolades to Damandeep Singh- student of 12th Standard at CT Public School for being awarded as Best All Rounder of the tournament at School National Games held at Indore, MP. He was the Captain of Punjab’s team in the said tournament.

World Aids Day

 World Aids Day observed annually on December 1st, is dedicated to raising awareness to the Aids caused by the spread of HIV infection. Our school observed this event by involving young students in the awareness campaign. Our students actively participate in spreading awareness and believes that the future generation has the ability to sensitize others and prevent spread of HIV.

Skill Development Classes in students’ secondary studies

Understanding the changing needs of the country that today every organization is looking for specialized and skill based employees, CT Public School, as a first in the Region, has included the Skill Development Classes in students’ secondary studies.

CTians celebrated Constitution Day

Our school celebrated Constitution Day to honour our democracy. Special Assembly was conducted in which students from X grade presents the messages contained in the Preamble to the Indian Constitution. Students as well as teachers took the pledge by reciting the "PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION".

Tribute to martyrs of 26/11 attack

Our students paid tribute to the martyrs who laid down their lives while fighting terrorists on the seventh anniversary of the 26/11 attack.

Intelliminds-A Mega Quiz

CT Group of Institutions organized ‘Intelliminds,’ a Mega Quiz with all pomp and colour.As many as 750 students from 183 schools from Punjab participated in the Inter School quiz competition. Our school team bagged IV position in this quiz.

Annual Day Celebrated in C T Public School

Annual Prize Distribution was organized in C T Public School with great gaiety and devotion. The Guest of Honour was Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, C T Group of Institutions. The programme began with Shabad Gayan to invoke the Almighty to shower His grace on the students, followed by the lighting of the lamp.

Mrs. Ranjana Rajput presented the Annual Report of the school The theme of the Annual Function was C T's Disney World. The tiny tots enthralled the audience with their performances like fancy dress,song,aerobics,rain dance,, Arabian dance and not to miss , Bhangra, the very essence of  Punjab. Lotus House bagged the Cultural Trophy for its outstanding performance in various competitions in the school.   Marigold House bagged the first position in academics. The Chief Guest honoured the students who excelled in academics. The Management of CT Institutions congratulated the students and the staff for the successful runway of the programme.

Venue for hosting SChool National trials for U-17 Women Cricket

It is a matter of great proud that our school has selected as a venue for hosting School National trials for U-17 Women Cricket by Punjab School Education Board, Mohali.

A Seminar on Road Safety

A Seminar on Road Safety was held in the premises of CT Public School to enlighten the students about the safe ways to ride and drive as the knowledge and retention of these safety measures is required by the young generation due to increasing graph of road accidents day by day. S. Shamsher Singh and Mr. Ramesh Kumar from Traffic Department counselled all present by telling them to wear helmets, carry their RC’s, driving license, pollution certificate, Insurance etc.  Mrs. Ranjana Rajput, the Principal, CT Public School inspired the students to retain and follow these rules as life is precious.

Congratulations Prerit Dutta!!!

 Prerit Dutta of our school has selected for PCA U-19 State Team. He is first school player from jalandhar to be a part of both One-dayers and Days cricket of Punjab State Team. He is selected for his good performance during Inter State One Day Tournament held last month.Now Punjab Team is going to take part in BCCI All India Inter State U-19 Tournament.

Halloween celebrated in CTPS

CT Public School has always been in the forefront to give their students a wide perspective of life and teach the children about the various festivals, traditions and cultures practiced worldwide. Halloween is celebrated all over the world on 31st October to ward off Evil. The students of CT Kindergarten wore Halloween costumes and painted their faces. They lit Jack–O-lanterns and got sweets. The students were told about the importance of the day.

 The Open Ladies Amateur Golf Championship- 2015 was held on October 26 to October 29, 2015 in Chandigarh in which 60 participants participated. Esha Sharma of Class VIII-B bagged 2nd Position in Junior category and got overall 3rd position. Heartiest congratulations to Esha Sharma!!!
