A creative team of Cornitos- a flavoured corn chips brand, visited our school campus and they created awareness for adopting healthy snacking habits to the students. Our kids had a gala time interacting with them while munching on healthy nachos.

A workshop on Blue Whale Challenge was held in our school to aware the students about the consequences of the game and guided them to live their to the fullest without indulging their childhood into such dared based game.
It is rightly said that “All great achievement is preceded and accomplished by resilience and unruffled determination to succeed”. It has been once again ascertained by our U-14 cricket team. They added feather to the golden cap of our school by turning out as District Champions. Heartiest congratulations to team members and their mentor.

A workshop on the importance of Home and sanitation was organised for the students of classes 3rd to 9th. The children were taught about the importance of cleanliness. The main objective of the workshop was to educate the children how to keep themselves free from diseases and keep healthy.and provide a clean environment. The students were told that lack of improved sanitation access have serious health impact.
The workshop was conducted by Geetanjali of Habitat for Humanity India. This organization works with a mission to ensure that everyone has a decent place to live. According to UNICEF India, 564 million people still defecate in the open in India. Habitat India’s “Sensitise to Sanitise” campaign aims to address the problem by building sanitation units as well as promoting behavioral change.
A 2- D Art competition was organized to check their creativity to bring the best out of waste. The students participated in this workshop wholeheartedly.
CT Public School launches Project-I AM ALSO MALALA. The venture has been embarked to provide assistance to the 16 girls hailing from families who fall below the proverty line. Skilled them with personality development and vocational courses. CT Group upholds the importance of education of girls and rightly believes in the slogan “Stand up for Malala –Stand up for the girls’’. In order to pay tribune to Malala Yousafzai, an astonishingly brave 15 year old girl who survived an assassination attempt for her determined efforts to defend girls’ education in Pakistan, after the Taliban outlawed schools for girls in her native Swatvalley. CT Public School has augmented support to under-privileged girls by extending free education, guidance for skill development,coaching in a game of choice and stationary.

Aug 18, 2017School hailing from zone 6 emerged as champions in a landslide victory after competing with 26 schools. These tournaments were held in Burlton Park, Jalandhar.
In the Under 14 category, CT Public School scored 130 runs by defeating the team of CJS Public School who were out at 61. Kartik Chadha scored 40 runs and was not out till the end while Aditya Joshi scored 56 runs and Vansh took 2 wickets.
In the Under-17 category, Aryan Shukla and Umar Munawar were not out at 36 and 32 runs respectively. This team played a match against CJS Public School which was bundled out at 67. CT Public School made 151 runs in 20 overs. Harshran,Jatin and Chahtam took 2 wickets each while Vishnu took 3 wickets. Zidaan contributed 16 runs to the team which emerged as winners.
In the Under -19 category, Karan Rajput scored 68 runs and was not out. Azam Nazar and arun Kalia made 66runs while Arun Kalia made 34 runs and helped to make their Alma Mater emerge as champions against MGN Public School, Adarsh Nagar.
All the three teams were applauded for their performance and were awarded a trophy. Principal Mrs Suman Rana congratulated the team and their coach Mr Vikas Chadha for their wonderful performance and impelled all the students to participate in sports for their general well being.

Girls are trapped in an intergenerational vicious cycle of poverty, illiteracy and deprivation due to their primitive nature and thus isolated from the mainstream of the life.

With this in mind, the Chairman of CT Group, Mr Charanjit Singh Channi, has launched a benevolent project, ‘I am Malala’ in the 20th year of its initiation. This noble venture has been embarked to provide assistance to the seventeen girls hailing from families who fall below the poverty line. Under this welfare scheme, CT Public School will augment support to under-privileged girls by extending free education, guidance for skill development, coaching in a game of choice and stationery. Mr. Channi believes that no meaningful development of the girls can take place without enhancing literacy and promoting their educational standards.
