Teacher’s Day was celebrated with great fun and gaiety at CT Public School on September 5, 2018.The teachers play an instrumental role in shaping the lives of the students. Keeping the same in mind and to honour all the teachers, students of classes X, XI and XII put up a cultural show on the occasion.
The two hour programme consisted of foot tapping songs, groovy dances, skit and fun filled interactions with teachers. The event commenced with a speech and a floral tribute to Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, the philosopher, scholar, teacher and first President of the country in whose memory Teacher’s Day is celebrated. There was a special celebration for teachers which included games with many prizes followed by a grand lunch.
The Principal, Ms. Poonam Gobindram encouraged the teachers to take a lot of pride in their work as teaching is the noblest of all human professions. She also applauded the efforts of the students in arranging such a wonderful show. Special thanks were extended to the Support Staff and the Security personale without whose help no event can be conducted successfully.
The Chairman of school, S.Charanjit Singh Ji Channi presented heartiest congratulations to the staff on this auspicious day.
CT Public School and CT World School celebrated Janmashtami with all passion and zeal. Beautiful decorations were done in the schools to make this event more cheerful and colourful. The children of donned the roles of lord krishna and Gopikas amongst many other characters related to Janmashtami. They won the souls of spectators by dressing in such attires. The event comprised of scintillating solo dance performances by the children on the life of Krishna and Radha.
With their laudable performances, they lighted the stage and mesmerized the audience. The students were judged on the basis of their makeup, expressions as well as level of confidence. An Inter House Matki Decoration Competition was also held at CT Public School in which the students of classes 6th to 12th participated with charm and enthusiasm, exhibiting their talent in the best possible way. Principals Ms. Madhu Sharma and Ms. Poonam of CT World School and CT Public School congratulated and inspired the students to inculcate various virtuous deeds and resolve to ethical ways to make life happy and contented .

Patroitic fervor marked the Independence Day celebrations at our campus.CT Public School marked the day by unfurling the Indian Tricolor. Thereafter the cultural programme began with the lighting of the lamp. The school choir set the pitch for the programme with patriotic songs and patriotic poems. The fancy dress show depicted the valour of Rani Laxmi Bai, Mahatma Gandhi, Jawahar Lal Nehru, S. Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev and paid homage to efforts of the numerous other freedom fighters of India. Solo performances by Kayra of Class I and Avanshika of Class V were breathtaking. The highlight of the programme was the enactment (mime) of the Indian freedom struggle which urged today’s generation to value the freedom we have secured after the sacrifices of many.

Jul 28, 2018The English Recitation activity of classes I and ll and Show and Tell activity of class lll was held at CT Public School on 21 July,2018.As we know that Beauty is the realm of the poetry, the children enjoy the beauty of thoughts, feelings, rhyme, rhythm and music of words. Taking all these facts into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. They chose a variety of poems on the topics related to Nature and Patriotism and recited them with full zeal and enthusiasm. The children expressed their feelings through innocent words and actions in a melody with all smiles and giggles.
A Show and Tell activity of class lll was also held on 21 July in which there was 100 percent participation of the children. They looked very sweet and innocent in their colourful costumes and there was a lot of excitement amongst the children throughout the activity. They, dressed up in colourful costumes, spoke a few sentences about the character they depicted. The main attractions of the show were the children in appearance of -Helmet, Newspaper, ATM, Football player, Nature, etc.

Jul 21, 2018Road accidents is an international problem prevalent in all countries. CT Public School has shown a serious concern over the number of increasing road accidents leading to the loss of precious lives.In order to curb this problem and to sensitize the drivers, conductors, support staff and other road users, CT Public School conducted an orientation session on 21 July,2018 under the guidance of Sh. Praveen Kumar Sinha, IPS Commissioner Police, Sr.Kulwant Singh Heer, ADCP Traffic and Sh. ``Varinderpreet Singh, ACP Traffic.ASI Shamsher Singh and H C Ramesh Sharma were amongst the main speakers of the occasion.
Speaking on behalf of traffic education cell, ASI Shamsher Singh stressed upon the importance of observing traffic rules and road safety norms and said the theme of this programme is,”Safety is not just a slogan it’s a way of life.”He urged the schools to follow the SAFE SCHOOL VAHAN POLICY and strict traffic safety measures as failing to do so would invite penalty.
A successful question answer session was held at last in which many drivers and helpers asked questions from the inviting team. ASI Shamsher Singh answered all of them very well.
The Principal, Dr. Suresh Sharma presented a vote of thanks to the dignitaries and ensured that the SAFE SCHOOL VAHAN POLICY would be executed effectively for the safe transportation of school children. The school plans to continue such programmes in future.

CT Public School organized a Science Exhibition which was inaugurated by Dr. Nitai Basak, Associate Professor, NIT (Bio Technology Department and Associate Dean). The students from classes VI-X participated enthusiastically.
They chose a few subjects that they wanted to create a project for and then applied their learning and came up with innovative ideas. The topics in Maths, Science and Social Science were selected based on what they learned in class such as Circulatory System, Burglar Alarm, Water Purification System, Lactometer, Drip Irrigation System, Rain Alarm, Vacuum Cleaner, Periscope, Solar System, Kaleidoscope, Water Cycle, Heat Zones of Earth, Earth’s Revolution, Layers of Atmosphere, Soil Profile, Solid Shapes, Properties of Triangles, Pythagoras Theorem, Parallel Lines, Properties of Parallelogram, Geoboard, Properties of Circle, Square Roots, Areas of Circle, Triangles, Quadrilaterals etc.
The day was filled with curious questions and bright explanations. The participants demonstrated an incredible grasp of mathematical and scientific knowledge through their projects. It was a chance to delve into different realms and ideas and thus it proved to be a good learning experience.
Chief Guest, Dr. Nitai Basak highly appreciated the "Biochemical Plant" and applauded the techniques used by the students to ensure an environmental friendly production cycle, with minimal emissions or wastes.
Principal, Dr. Suresh Sharma appreciated and inspired the budding scientists and stated that science needs to be studied beyond curriculum and requires inquisitive thinking minds. He acknowledged the enthusiasm and hard work of all participants and their vision illustrated in the models. Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director applauded the efforts of the students.
CT Group enters into second year of “I’m Also Malala”. There is an urgent need to save and educate girl child in India. “If you educate a man, you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a nation."
When girls are educated, the country becomes stronger and more prosperous. One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world. Putting efforts to motivate girl education especially from BPL Families,CT Public School🫠has stepped forward and entered into its second year of "I'm Also Malala" scheme. Introducing this scheme last year, "I'm Also Malala" catered to the educational needs of 15 girl students for free and this year 15 more girls have been registered.
Telling about the same, Principal Dr. Suresh Sharma said, "Our school believes that when we educate girls we are not educating them individually but we are also empowering them and we are giving them oppurtunities to earn for themselves like, Malala Yousafzai wishes. The school is a pioneer in promoting various girl educational programmes. It is the second year that the school is successfully running the Malala programme by the name “I’m also Malala”, advocating every girl’s right to free, safe and quality education. This project yields good impact on the career of about 30 girl children studying in CTPS through excellent education." Telling further he said, "More than 3 lakh rupees have been spent in providing help and support required to continue their education. Not only this, the project also protects girl child from child marriages, trafficing, domestic servants, and eradication of illiteracy and provide good quality education.
From this unique project, deprived girl child gets timely education material support, uniforms , shoes, dictionaries and schoolbags etc." Mr. Manbir Singh, Managing Director CT Group stated that there is an urgent need to save and educate a girl child in India if we really want to see India as a developed nation. “We will also send the report of our project to Malala Foundation and would wish her to visit our campus in order to boost the spirit of these children”, he said.
Jul 11, 2018A special assembly was conducted in school in which the students presented speeches dealing with the reasons for the population increase. The students linked the menace of population increase with issues like poverty, unemployment and lack of education.
They also participated in poster making activity and did their best to express their ideas through slogans and paintings. Dr. Suresh Sharma, the Principal, shared his views on the theme and said that this great awareness event is to bring population revolution globally and it is our duty to pay full attention and help in combating this issue.

The Kindergarten students wore smiling looks and started their day with morning prayers in an assembly. The CT Public School students,teaching and non-teaching members of various departments participated in the event. Various asanas were performed and the benefits of yoga were also told to the participants.

It included with a SubhSankalpa and Shanti Patha .

The students were made aware of environment and surroundings and were inspired to work collectively for the protection of the earth. Showcasing their commitment towards a greener and cleaner world, the students raised slogans and displayed posters regarding different environmental issues. Principal of the school, Dr. Suresh Sharma spoke on the importance of the day and said that in order to tackle the problem of pollution and global, we have to plant more trees every year. The present scenerio seeks the change in our lifestyle. It is the moral duty of every resident of planet earth to make it clean.

An awareness programme was organised at CT Public School on the occasion of World No Tobacco Day. The programme was attended by the students of classes VI-XII with great zeal and enthusiasm. The programme enlightened the children on hazards of smoking, consuming tobacco and other intoxicant ingredients. A drawing/painting competition was also organised with a message "Just Say No To Tobacco”Principal Mrs. Suman Rana delivered a motivational speech on the ill effects of tobacco, it’s addicting nature and how it leads to fatal and incurable diseases. She advised the students to take an oath not to follow the practice of consumption of tobacco.

Paramvir makes CT proud by scoring 96.2% in CBSE Xresults. Navneet Kaur scores 93.8% & Sanya stands third with 93%. 13 meritorious students scored above 80%. It’s the proud moment for entire CT family as Paramvir Singh, of CT our school stood first in CBSE X Board results declared today, by scoring 93.8% marks. He is followed by Navneet Kaur who bagged second position by scoring 93% and Sanya Bhandari stood third with 90%.
The result has registered an upward trend every year thereby making excellence a habit. The class X students has paid a fitting tribute to their mentors by bagging various positions. The entire batch of 54 students has cleared the examination with good performance. 13 Meritorious students scored above 80 percent marks. Parents and students acknowledged the dedicated efforts of the teachers with gratitude and thanked the management for the solid support system in the school. May 29, 2018The students of CT Public School have outshined in XII results with 100 percent result. Like last year, they have brought immense joy and laurels to CT family by emerging in flying colors. Out of 86 students that appeared in AISSCE exam, 32 were from the Science stream, 36 were from the Commerce stream and 18 were from the Humanities stream with 93.2%, Simran Kaur from Commerce stream topped the school followed by Carol Singh from Science stream managed to score 92.6%. Ishanika Verma scored 84 percent marks in the stream of Humanities.Three students scored 90% and above, Six students scored between 85 to 90%, Eleven remained between 80 to 85% where as Thirty-One students scored between 70 to 80%. And Twenty-Seven students scored between 60-70%.
