Career Counselling workshop was organised for the students of XI and XII by CT Group of Institutions, Maqsudan Campus.After school life, the students feel demented about various courses and cannot decide the path on which to tread. Career decisions play a pivotal role in shaping the future growth and development of students.
In today’s environment of multiple options at one’s disposal, knowing about choices available helps children in their decision-making process. The counsellors from CT Institution Maqsudan, reiterated the importance of knowing one’s potential and subject of interest before making a decision. The students were apprised to plan their career based on their academics and to know the possibilities in order to make choices and be successful in life. They stressed on the right combination of subjects as per their aptitude which should be reflected in their academic performance.
The counsellors briefed the students about a plethora of courses offered by CT Group of Institutions, duration and the dates for various exams. The session was very informative and enriching for students.

Conscientious CTians from Classes I-VI were felicitated in morning assembly as they say no to #crackers and celebrated Eco-Diwali. Principal of the school, Mrs. Poonam Gobind Ram appreciated their zest and zeal to make the environment-friendly celebrations a way of life rather than being an option.

PSEB School State Lawn Tennis Tournament was held at Mohali from 14/11/18 to 19/11/18. In this tournament , 22 districts from all over Punjab participated. It was a proud moment for our school that Tanisha Babbar of Grade 8 won Gold Medal in Under -17 Lawn Tennis Girls category. The Principal, Ms. Poonam Gobind Ram congratulated the coach, Ms. Bhawna & budding sports star, Tinisha for their successful endeavour and inspired the other children also to participate in games and keep themselves progressive.

Diwali is a festival of lights- light in the spirit, evoked through sharing and caring. 5th November 2018- students classes 9-12 visit an orphanage, Pingalwara to interact and share goodies with the deprived and the neglected, lighting up their festival too. The same activity took care of their Community- service project prescribed by the CBSE.

Pride as always-CT Public school District champions in Under 19 Cricket.Total 16 Zones participated in this tournament held at Bultronpark Cricket Stadium Jalandhar. There were about 20 schools in each zone.CT Public School beat zone no4 and Police Dav and three other schools' combined team in the finals today. Kudos!!!

Street-theatre or 'nukkad natika' is a form of theatrical performance and presentation in outdoor public spaces, creating awareness on burning social issues. The students of classes 7th to 10th put up an incredible performance in a 'nukkad natika' during the assembly , addressing social evils of dowry, neglect of girl child's education and lack of Civic sense. Special appreciation being extended to the teacher-director of the play, Ms. Neetu Seth. The actor participants were Asha Raj, Joyna Khurana, Tanveer Bagga, Kritika Shori and Sahajdeep Saini from class 10, Nikita Seth from class 9, Ekam Noor, Parv Soni from class 7, Sneha Bansal, Khushnoor Kaur and Prajna Verma from class 8.

Dussehra, the festival commemorating the victory of good over evil, was celebrated in CT Public School today with a lot of religious zest and fervour.
The school choir began the function with an invocation to the Almighty.Ram Leela was staged beautifully by the students of grade VI and VII, portraying how evil and immorality comes to an end establishing morality and peace.
Speaking about the custom of burning effigies of Ravana and his co-patriots, Mrs. Poonam Gobindram, Principal, CT Public School, emphasized on the expulsion of sinful and diabolic feelings from within our hearts rather than polluting the environment with crackers. She said that it is important to understand the essence of the festival which is “Truth Always Triumphs’ and that the children should tread on the paths of righteousness.
To add more vibrance to the festivity, Dandia was performed by the students. Even tiny tots of Kindergarten garbed in vivid colours enacted the story of Ram and the fall of Ravana.
The Management of CT Group congratulated the staff and students on this festive occasion.
