Dance is not merely body movement, it is like poetry in motion with thoughts, emotions, expressions and elegant movements. It brings alive its meaning. Dance is an art form which is done with body, mind and sou. A dance done by our body alone is incomplete. It has to have the right expressions and involvement of the dancer. Dance must be done with lot of passion, for it to bring out the beauty of the music or song. MyPAT empowers students with smart learning and assessment tools that have proven to improve test scores of lakhs of students identify weaknesses and achieve their goals much faster than traditional learning methods.
National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a prestigious scholarship examination conducted by NCERT for students of Class 10 from all over India. NTSE is a highly competitive exam and to crack this exam, students must have a smart and methodical preparation plan. One of the most important aspects of NTSE preparation is solving NTSE question papers. So, the CT Public School conducted my PAT- (India's largest online learning and assessment platform ) exam for the students of classes IX and X
This exam helps students to get familiar with the marking scheme, the difficulty level of questions and the weightage of different topics. Most importantly, students will get to know where they are standing in terms of their preparation – what are their strengths and weaknesses and what exactly they need to do in order to improve.
To prepare for these exams, it is important to give mock tests as it helps the students learn from their mistakes. With technology evolving, students have a new destination to learn and improvise.
The primary motive of these mock tests is to create a benchmarking tool which will help students to measure their preparedness and work on their weakness.
The Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana said that the
mock tests should be treated as actual tests. If a student is serious while sitting for the mock test, he or she will perform well in the actual exam as well. Each mock test which they attempt, gives them an opportunity to learn and improve their performance.
The Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur encouraged the students by saying that through this kind of preparation, they can expect to improve their understanding of concepts and basics which could be applied in the final test.

“Mobile phones may be an easy way to distract children or keep them occupied. However, they come with their own set of vices. “
CT Public School organised a session for the hostel students on 22nd October on ill effects of mobile phones.Dr.Surjeet Kaur Madan, Neonatologist and child specialist,PMG Children Hospital was the resource person of the day. She stated that this is about students’ morality and must be considered seriously, if not, the future of education would be destroyed. Among teenagers, cell phones can cause headaches, decreased attention, shortness of temper, sleep disorders, and depression. Radio waves are not the only reason for such symptoms. It is the sad reality that nowadays many people, especially youth, experience a lack of human contact, and they try to compensate it with mobile phone communication, which is not an adequate substitute for physical interaction. Adolescence is not an easy period of life, and at that time a young person is especially vulnerable. In cases of excessive mobile phone use there is a possibility of becoming addicted; the real world seems to fade in comparison with hours-long chats and hundreds of messages. These aspects cause psychological problems, as people start to feel uncomfortable in face-to-face communication. It was indeed a wonderful and informative session which was highly appreciated by Principal,Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal,Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur.
To explore the sacrifice of our National Heroes in the fight for freedom, CT PUBLIC SCHOOL organized a one day educational trip for the hostel students to Jang-e-Azadi memorial and museum, Kartarpur, made to honour and showcase the contribution of freedom fighters. Students were given round of the memorial and were shown models, statues, time line, movie, murals, and presentation depicting various facets of freedom struggle of India and also the role played by the Punjab state in the freedom struggle. The main events of independence movement were also organized chronologically which were keenly observed by the students. The young historians took keen interest & noted down the main highlights of the memorial. Principal ,Mr.Daljeet Rana averred that such visits are must for students of any stream as these trips enrich learning experiences and they also leave a lasting impression on the minds of the students. He further maintained that educational trips give chance to the students to build closer bond with their classmates and to experience new environments. He lauded the efforts of the CT management for organizing this educational trip.
