Music Competition

 ‘ Music is an expression of individuality; it's how you see the world. All art is, for that matter. You take how you experience the world, interpret it, and send it out there - express it - whether it's sculpture, dance or singing.’

Dance is a performing art form consisting of having aesthetic and symbolic values and is acknowledged as dance by performers and observers within a particular culture. It teaches the importance of movement and fitness in a variety of ways through a variety of disciplines. As well, dancers learn to coordinate muscles to move through proper positions. Dancing is a great activity to pursue at almost any age provided you are in proper health to handle the rigors of dancing for life.
 
 
 
The shinning star Atinder Kaur of Grade V, CT Public School  has participated in an event organized by Satyug Darshan  Sangeet Kala Kendra held in DAVIET, Jalandhar and received a token of participation. 
The Principal Mr.Daljeet Singh Rana and Vice Principal Mrs.Sukhdeep Kaur highly appraised the efforts done by HOD Music and Dance Ms. Kiran Sharma and Mr.Vimal Passi dance teacher. The Principal also congratulated Atinder Kaur for her outstanding performance and added that ‘When you dance, your purpose is not to get to a certain place on the floor. It's to enjoy each step along the way.’

Visit to CT University

 Visit to Robotics Lab CT University Robotics Lab is a perfect outlet for students as robotics is in the forefront of technology. It helps in improving schools digital equity and economic development. It is an effective medium to pique student's interest in STEM fields. It helps in inculcates 'Practical way of learning' which contributes to the enhancement of students thinking process. 

A group of 30 students accompanied by 3 teachers visited Robotics Lab. of CT University, Ludhiana.
The purpose of visit is to promote and enhance students understanding of the culture of science and technology and to foster a spirit of scientific enquiry and creativity among the students.
 
 
 
 
Mr. Harmeet Singh, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science demonstrated the projects on Robotics to the students like Smart T-shirt, smart Shoes, Robotics Hand, Hover craft, Artificial Bird etc.  Basics of Arduino programming was taught to the students. Budding learners were taken on a tour of the Robotics Lab. where they were fascinated to see the mind boggling scientific activities. The working of a 3D printer were also showcased to them.  
Students learnt advanced set of building blocks which can be used as tools for building simulated real-world situations. The students can then carry out a variety of tasks which are defined for the robots and thus gain a very hands-on insight while doing such exercises. 
The visit proved to be a massive success as it not only quenched the thirst of minds but also brought enticing smiles on the faces of children. 
The Vice-Chancellor, Dr. Harsh Sadawarti, stated that now this is the era of Science and technology, so students should be well aware of new technologies and Atal Tinkering Lab is a way of bringing paradigm shift in education by providing the students enriching scientific skills.

Inter District Hindi Essay Writing Competition

An Inter District Hindi Essay Writing competition was organized by Shri Harishchandar Nistander Smruti Committee for 10th and 11th class students. It was conducted on 28th June 2019 in the remembrance of Shri Harishchandar Nistander 's 108th birthday .
In this competition near about 110 participants participated actively. A topic was given for essay writing "Bharat Vishav guru kaise bane?"
 
Students expressed their views and ideas in their writing. Abhimanyu Singh a proud student of CTPS  from grade XI  bagged 3rd cash prize for showing his excellence in writing skills .
The Principal Mr.Daljeet Singh Rana and Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur congratulated  Abhimanyu Singh and H.O.D Hindi Mrs.Neetu Seth for their efforts and for bringing laurels to the school.The Principal awarded the student with certificate and further added that in the school now students are expressing their views and ideas and they are aware about their right role and responsibilities.

Visit to Science City

With an aim to inculcate scientific approach among students, an innovation hub has been set up at #Science  City,Kapurthala which is a  boon to society.
Students of  CT PUBLIC SCHOOL were taken to  innovation hub,Science City to develop their scientific mindset and to channelise their potential to nurture the  scientific talent. The Principal ,Mr.Daljeet Rana stated that  in the modern era, innovative and creative minds dominate since they bring desired results to make complex processes simple, easy and economical. Only innovative ideas can lead to new products, technologies, opportunities and ensure sustainable growth. It is imperative to provide solutions to their raw ideas which are more systematic and technically firm.
 
 
 
 
CTians  visited fun science gallery,worked on assembly of EV3 Mindstorm ,sensors - smoke sensors, color sensors, ultrasonic sensors, touch sensor etc.The courious minds showed an overwhelming response at learning new scientific concepts.

Birthday Celebrations

Gurlal of *Second Achievers* was very happy and contented today. He celebrated his birthday in a unique manner. He did something constructive for himself as well as for the planet. He planted a sapling. He said, he will ensure it grows into full-fledged tree and take care of it. 
 
Principal Mr Daljeet Rana said, "Trees are indispensable for human survival. Millions of trees are cut every month. If it continues like this, soon we won’t have any tree left on the planet". 
 
Vice-Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur added, "I feel all of us must plant trees on our birthday. This will help in maintaining the ecological balance".

Mastering Student Motivation

“Mastering Student Motivation is a high impact experience designed to motivate students to take responsibility for their own futures.”

 
Motivation helps students to identify their own ambitions and the reasons that they want to succeed for themselves – not just because adults tell them they have to!
Keeping this idea in mind,a powerful motivational session was organised by the Principal of CT School,Mr.Daljeet Rana today which was of utmost significance for board class students.It 
provided a simple but effective goal setting template for them to use over and over again as they become accomplished goal setters .This seminar empowered our students with self-motivation and healthy, target-centered thinking patterns,power of focus,setting high standards ,time management and the role of a mentor.Sir also advised them to avoid wastage of time on social media rather spend time on reading motivational #books and watching heroic and powerful motivational movies.It was an interactive session in which the
students questioned their limiting belief systems &  promised to adopt a healthier, positive state of mind.They challenged habitual thinking patterns and  said they would replace them with more positive behaviours.The Principal hoped that our students  would definitely develop self-motivation skills, become focused on achieving self-set goals and become more confident in their ability to succeed. He congratulated Harhpreet and Diksha of class 10 for presenting their self power points and applauded them for their confidence.

Week of Wellness

 "Exercise not only changes your body, it changes your mind, your attitude and your mood.Exercise should be regarded as a tribute to the heart." Good things come to those who sweat".

The maintenance of health and fitness helps a person to be in the general state of health and well-being. It provides ability to perform physical actions without being tired or restless. However, the maintenance of health and fitness requires regular physical exercise with balanced diet. It is very necessary for all to maintain their health and fitness in order to be fit, healthy, fearless of diseases, and get so many other benefits.
Keeping this  in mind,  #CT Group  organized  #WOW-Week of  Wellness on 17th November in which the CT faculty and staff had participated enthusiastically.There were many fun-filled activities like Zoomba, bhangra, aerobics, gym and games like cricket and badminton. The children made sketches on the importance of staying fit. The participants thoroughly enjoyed and learnt the  importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Felicitation Ceremony in CT Kindergarten

“No person was ever honoured for what he received. Honour has been the reward for what he gave.”

A felicitation ceremony was organized on 16th November,2019 in CT Kindergarten. The Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana , Vice Principal Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur and Kindergarten incharge Ms. Neena Sethi encouraged students with their parents with photo flex for students’ remarkable performance in academics, sports and other curricular activities. Around 19 students were shortlisted. From nursery class Gurashish, Shanaya, Sukhmani, from LKG Sarvshresth, Shreya, Aadhya, Sabreen, from UKG Rayaan Prashar, Aillish, Gurtej, Anish Ohri, Kashish, Raghav Jain, Gurnoor, Hitansh, Tahbeer, Tejas Grover, Ruhaan, Reyansh Chawla were highlighted for their efforts to inspire other children also to aspire for better.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Parents expressed their gratitude towards CT Kindergarten for working forward on the over all development of children with all innovative activities and experienced and dedicated CT Faculty.

The Principal and The incharge CT Kindergarten displayed a gesture of acknowledgement to all the parents for their presence and assured them a bright future of their kids with a vision of Excellence in academic and curriculum activities in future.

Birthday celebrations

One event that excites children to no end is their birthday. It is a special day for them and the images of cakes, candles and gifts are enough to keep them awake all night. Birthday for a child is a big occasion which they want to celebrate with their friends and family members with as much pomp and show as possible.


Today *Kavya Gupta* student of *Second Achievers* celebrated her birthday by bringing a sapling to plant in the school campus. Kavya was feeling happy and said that she will see this plant growing up with her. She also gave her name (Kavya) to her plant.
Principal Mr Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur congratulated her and gave their best wishes to do well in life.

District Satyug Sangeet Utsav-2019

Sing aloud the glory of God and charge the atmosphere with divine adoration . . .

[Devotional singing (bhajans)] is the process of singing that originates in the heart, not from the lips or the tongue. It is the expression of the joyous thrill that wells up from the heart when the Glory of God is remembered.

 

CT PUBLIC SCHOOL trains its students in Devotional Snging (bhajan) and believes that it is one of the processes by which you can train the mind to expand into eternal values. It encourages man to dive into himself and be genuinely his real Self.

 

 


It is a matter of great pride that Arshdeep Singh ,a talented singer of the school participated in 13th Inter -District Satyug Sangeet Utsav-2019, organised by Satyug Darshan Trust ,held at KL Sehgal Memorial and achieved third position. The efforts of the music teachers,Ms.Kiran Sharma and Mr.Neeraj who trained the child were praised by the Principal ,Mr.Daljeet Rana.He congratulated them and said,”
Every song sung in praise of the Lord is a sword that cuts the knots of laziness. It is a fine piece of social service to remind all of their duty to the Almighty, who watches over them.

Pledge on Save Water

As we all know that how the water is important for the continuation of life on the earth it is the most basic need of everyone (human beings animals plants and other microorganisms). Water is the unique source of life. Without water we cannot imagine the life here. Life on other planets is not possible just because of the absence of water. It is considered as the most important among other known celestial bodies. All of us need to understand the importance of water and problems related to lack of water in future.

 

 

 

 

The special assembly was conducted on 16th November a resolution - dedicated to 550th Parkash Purab Utsav of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on Save Water in which the students and teachers took a pledge to 'SAVE WATER AND NEVER WASTE IT'.

 

We should not waste and contaminate useful water in our life and promote water saving and conservation among people added the Principal Mr Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur.

English Calligraphy Activity

English Calligraphy activity was organized in the primary section for classes I to V to improve students writing skills and to inculcate a habit of writing amongst the students.

 

 

All the students of grade I to V participated in the competition. The assessment was done by the class teachers on the basis of writing style, curves and patterns, legibility and neatness, beautification etc.

 

 

 


Principal Mr Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts done by the students and motivated children..
*To write neatly in good handwriting.
*To complete the work in the given time.

*To make children aware of correct formation of letter with curves.

*To use punctuations including full stop, commas, capital letters at proper place.

Children's Day celebrations

 “Treat your kid like a darling for the first five years. For the next five years, scold them. By the time they turn sixteen, treat them like a friend. Your grown up children are your best friends.” – Chanakya

CT Public School celebrated the #Children’s Day on birth anniversary of Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru , The first Prime Minister of India on 14th November. Nehru ji was fond of kids and had a belief that the progress of any country is completely dependent on the growth of its children and youth. According to him “Children carry the hopes for our brighter tomorrow and the dreams of our happy future.”

Students were made to feel special by greeting them in morning with candies at the gate. Class incharges decorated their respective classes before students’ arrival to make them feel surprised and pinned badges of a message on Children’s Day. Students felt overwhelmed at this gesture of their loving teachers. Various activities and games were also performed in classes by the students and encouraged students for reading by gifting books to the winners of various activities.

Special assembly was conducted by the teachers as an expression of compassion for children. Teachers performed Lazy dance, Group song, solo song, solo dance and National Anthem followed by open dance for students. CTPS Faculty believes that children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured, as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow. There can be no keener revelation of a society's soul than the way in which it treats its children. Every child is a born optimist; he dreams golden dreams.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

‘If we want to see our future filled with happiness and harmony, we must teach our kids to be a good human being more than anything else’.CT Kindergarten’s supporting staff also grabbed a chance to celebrate innocence of children by singing a group song for children. It was a great charm for toddlers to see the affection of their teachers, supporting staff and Ms Neena Sethi Incharge Kindergarten.

Ms.Amrit Kalsi, Deputy Director Trainings along with Vice Principal Mrs.Sukhdeep Kaur also marked their honourable presence and relished children's day with students and faculty. They added that ‘If you plant honesty, you will reap trust. If you plant goodness, you will reap friends. If you plant humility, you will reap greatness.’ They wished all the students Happy Children’s Day.

The Principal Mr.Daljeet Singh Rana addressed students with great energy and congratulated students on children’s day and appraised CTPS Team for their initiative to spread happiness on the special occasion. He also unfolded his vision about children’s future and advised students to be focused for their study and success.

Winners of Cooking Competition

Cookery is a wholly an art: All good cooks, like all great artists, must have an audience worth cooking for. Cooking is like love, it should be entered into with abandon or not at all. A man who loves good food has a way of making it gravitate toward his kitchen.

Divyangana and Vansh Bajaj, students of XI Commerce exhibited their culinary talent in a competition organized by HMV Senior Secondary School and bagged the third position. More than 30 teams participated in the cooking without fire competition. Their creativity and finesse in presentation of their dish "café au lait regal" won great accolades.
''Eating is sensorial. More than that, it’s about interpreting the information that your senses give you''.

 

 

Apart from Smart Chef, the students participated in Duet Song, Poster Making, Group Dance, Digital Designing, Power Point Presentation, Declaration and Essay Writing Competitions. The children participated in the various events passionately. Competitions play a role in motivating students to perform and excel and offer a lot more reward than just the winning prize. Competitions offer a chance for participants to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude. Students of CT Public School are always motivated to hone their skills and learn from various sources.

Our handwriting depicts our personality traits.


To improve presentation skills and to inculcate habit of good handwriting among students a Calligraphy Competition was conducted in the class. The assessment was done on the basis of writing style, curves, patterns and neatness, etc. The best pieces of work were awarded certificates.

Solitaire Mr/ Miss Universe Event

Haradhya Kaur the student of class 1 Achievers of CT Public School participated in solitaire Mr/Miss Universe event held in CT Institute (Shahpur Campus) and was the winner of the day. She was declared as Solitaire Miss Universe.
Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur said that she deserved this title for her stupendous performance and extended their congratulations for her diligence and commitment.

Birthday Celebrations

Trees provide us with many benefits necessary for survival,including clean air ,filtered water,shade and food.They also give us hope and insight even in the harshest conditions.They teach us to stay rooted while soaring to great heights.

 

Under the guidance of The Principal, Mr.Daljeet Singh Rana and Vice Principal, Mrs.Sukhdeep kaur ,students of CTPS have started a campaign to plant at least one sapling on their birthdays to give birth to a new hope and freshness in their life.Today Harkirat Singh of class VI Adorable also planted a sapling on his birthday under this campaign.The whole CTPS family wishes him a bright future ahead.

Parents Ki Pathshala

'If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours.'


Empathy is one of the most important aspects of creating harmonious relationships, reducing stress and enhancing emotional awareness. Empathy is not sympathy. Empathy is more a sense that we can truly understand, relate to or imagine the depthof another person's emotional state or situation. It implies feeling with the person rather than feeling sorry for a person. Dr Kavita Kaushal presently working in Bathinda as a principal in college of Physiotherapy Adesh University Bathinda was invited by CT Public school to deliver a lecture on empathy under the program 'Parents ki Pathshala'. She made children understand how to be helpful and cooperative to others. Children also learnt the methods of preserving the mother earth by not using plastic bags, by recycling and using the garbage of kitchen as organic manure and by not wasting their food. Principal Mr Daljeet Singh Rana and vice Principal Sukhdeep kaur thanked the guest for sparing her precious moments to deliver the golden words to the students.

Virasat-e-Pradarshani

‘A grateful heart is a beginning of greatness. It is an expression of humility. It is a foundation for the development of such virtues as prayer, faith, courage, contentment, happiness, love, and well-being.’

CT Group of Institutions has organised 'Virasat- e -Pradarshani’ with the ‘Sewa da Sankalap' society from 4 November 2019 to 12 November 2019 at Govt. Senior Sec.Boys School, Shri Ber Sahib road, Sultanpur Lodhi. The Chairman and Chancellor CT University S.Charanjit Singh Channi , Managing Director Mr.Manbir Singh and Vice Chairman Ms.Harpreet Singh inaugurated an event with great pomp and show. Students of CT Group of Institutions displayed their deep rooted reverence towards Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji on His 550th birth anniversary. Students reflected His life history by various paintings made by students and models of Gurdwara Ber Sahib. More than 50 counters were there which gave a reflection of Punjabi rich cultural heritage. Students and faculty members voluntarily offered their services to make the celebration of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji’s 550th birthday more organised with the collaboration of ‘Sewa da Sankalap' society. According to them that ‘The best service to God is the service to mankind’. People admired an initiative taken by CT Group and added that such efforts bring young generation closer to their roots and also influence them to do something good in life. Visitors found the shade of old Punjab really thrilling and introduced their toddlers about charkha, parali, chatti, chakki, phulkari and various other things of old village.

CT Students presented street play on the teaching of Shri Guru Nanak Dev ji’s teaching ‘ ਸੋ ਕਿਉ ਮੰਦਾ ਆਖੀਐ ਜਿਤੁ ਜੰਮਹਿ ਰਾਜਾਨ ॥‘ which was highly applauded by the spectators.

The Chairman CT Group and Vice Chancellor CT University S.Charanjit Singh Channi added that involvement in such religious activities attach youth with its roots and made them God fearing . He further said , “Faith in God is an opening up, a letting go, a deep trust, a free act of love but sometimes it was so hard to love. Hold fast to your faith. Keep your hope in the Lord. Embrace the love of God.”

The Managing Director Mr.Manbir Singh and Vice Chairman Mr.Harpreet Singh congratulated CT Fraternity for their collective efforts to make 'Virasat- e -Pradarshani’ possible. They advocated ‘There is no higher religion than human service. To work for the common good is the greatest creed.’

Beauty Pegeant Solitaire Mr/ Miss India 2019

A beauty pageant Solitaire Mr/ Miss & Mrs. India 2019 was organised by Khwaish and Manglam Pakshalika at Sardarni Manjit Kaur Auditorium, CT Campus Shahpur. It gives us immense pleasure to announce that Aillish of UKG AMBITIOUS has been awarded with the title of Solitaire(4-8) Little Rockstar by..Mrs. Punjab, Tamanna Mahajan.
The Principal of CT PUBLIC SCHOOL,Mr.Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur applauded the efforts of this tiny solitaire and stated that such competitions give a unique opportunity to our budding artists to emulate the Independent, vibrant and confident Indian men, women & girls.It was a worthwhile experience!!


Such competitions put its contestants on a memorable path; and leaves you with great memories, strong friendships, and a defining sense of accomplishment.
