Commendations to Well Dressed Students

Wearing a uniform is a symbol of dignity and it creates one unique Identity for all the students.The concept of school uniform is a mature one. It is based on the model of equality, smartness and sense of belonging.when we talk about school uniform we envision a school student dressed up neatly in a set of shirt and trousers or shirt and a skirt as the case might be with a tie nicely placed around the neck depending on the decorum of the place , a school blazer with school logo on the top left pocket. This all was observed among the students of primary wing and were honoured as Well Dressed Students by principal Mr Daljeet Singh Rana and Vice Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur.

Commendations to the Well Mannered Students

Man is the most intelligent creation of God on the earth as he lives in the society .He also has the capacity to think, talk and act accordingly. Good manners are very essential in life as they help us to behave well in society. Good manners help us to win the heart of people in the public place. Therefore one creates a unique personality due to good manners.Today Dakshita of class 1st Achievers and Aadhya Sharma of class first Adorable got the 'Well Mannered student' award in the school .Principal Mr Daljeet Singh Rana and Vice Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur congratulated the students and said that modesty, humbleness ,kindness and courtesy are the essential traits of a well behaving person. A person with good manners shows respect towards feelings and sentiments of others living in the surroundings. Practicing good manners and following them all through the day will definitely bring sunshine and add qualities to life.

CT believes that the achievements, successes or accomplishments children gain in school are the part of best school life years.Schooling serves various needs that a student needs in building up their personality and career. The primary responsibility of the schools is to improve the students in their academic part but its role does not get limited to that only. With the modern infrastructure and facilities that each school had today, are capable of directing the students towards a better future by enhancing their ability.

Lohri Celebrations

 *Days of joy,weeks of laughter months of good luck and years of prosperity*

CT kindergarten organised a special assembly on 13th January 2020. The function was graced with the presence of Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice-principal Mrs. Sukhdeep kaur. Functions and festivals are the lifeline of the Punjabi culture .Punjab is known as the land of five rivers and have varied festivals and cultures. Lohri is one the most welcoming festival which is celebrated in punjab with great enthusiasm.The festival of *Lohri* marks the beginning of the end of winter and the coming of spring and the new year. The Lohri bonfire is symbolic of our old method of protecting ourselves as well as a firm of fire worship. The ancient significance of the festival is both as a winter crop season celebration and a rememberance of the sun deity (Surya) .

 

 

 

Lohri songs mention the Indian sun God asking for heat and thanking him for his return . Other legends explain the celebration as a folk reverence for fire (Agni) or the goddness of Lohri. Students of U.K.G
Alish and Dilneet performed a beautiful dance on Punjabisongs, group dance was performed by U.K.G children. Speech was delivered by Aarav Nanda.

Overall it was a fun-filled activity.

Appreciation by IUEF 3rd International United Educationist Fraternity

'High achievement always takes place in the framework of high expectation'

It is a matter of extreme proud that CT Public School has received an appreciation by IUEF 3rd International United Educationist Fraternity in International Mega Summit and National School Awards INSA 2020 on theme Innovative Learning Ecosystem for the New Age School Leaders on 5th January 2020. The Principal CT Public School Mr.Daljeet Singh Rana,Jt convenor IUEF 3rd International Summit recieved a token of recognition in the presence of Dr.Dinesh Singh Chancellor K R Mangalam University and Dr.Sachin Gupta , Chancellor Sanskriti University Mathura.

 

The Chairman CT Group and Chancellor CT University S.Charanjit Singh ji Channi and the esteemed Chief Guest Dr.Lalit Kumar Awasthi,Director Dr.BR Ambedkar National Institute of Technology highly appraised the efforts and innovative initiatives taken by CTPS Team in the excellent guidance of The Principal on the occasion of Annual Prize Distribution Function. The Principal gave the credit of this achievement to the most magnificent CT Management and CTPS Team for trusting his vision and extending their tireless support and cooperation.

Annual Prize Distribution

 “A champion needs a motivation above and beyond winning.”

CT PUBLIC SCHOOL always stands out from the rest, be it academics, cultural activities or sports. Over the years  the school has produced a number of excellent students in academics who, in the future take the reputation of the school to new heights. And what’s the better way to appreciate and congratulate them than awarding them with mementoes and certificates of appreciation!
Keeping alive the traditions of excellence and awarding the high academic achievers, The CT PUBLIC SCHOOL held its Annual Prize Distribution Function on Saturday, 11th January at the aesthetically decorated Assembly lawn.It was an endeavour to acknowledge and award students for their continuing saga of glorious achievements in the School and Board  Examinations ,Sports and Co -curricular activities.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Chief Guest, the esteemed Dr.Lalit Kumar Awasthi, Director, Dr.B.R.Ambedkar National Institute of Technology,Jalandhar 
along with the  worthy chairman of school,S.Charanjit Singh Ji Channi ,the Principal, Mr.Daljeet Rana and the Vice Principal, Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur.
 
 
 
 
The events started off by the prayer song sung by the school choir followed by a welcome speech .The students of the Junior School showcased their prowess in an amazing  Durga dance performance. Then Principal,Mr.Daljeet Rana came to the podium and spoke his share of appreciation for the school, shared some inspirational thoughts and presented the academic annual report.After that the class toppers from Nursery to class 12 were felicitated as they were given mementoes by  the chief guest.
The felicitations were followed by an amazing  Tandav dance performed by Hradhya  and contemporary dance by Kyra.Special awards were given to the  students for excellence in sports, music,singing,dramatics and other co curricular activities.. A special joker dance performance by the Junior School student preceded the Vote of Thanks given by Vice Principal,Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur.Amidst heavy applause, the ceremony was inherently a spectacular show, conferring strength and encouragement upon every individual student.
The Chief Guest, applauded the efforts of the prize winners and advised them to do better. The chairman congratulated the high academic achievers, and highlighted the devoted work done by the teachers in maintaining excellent academic standards in the school.The function concluded with the National Anthem.

Kudos to Sukhraj Singh

 A champion shows who he is by what he does when he's tested. When a person gets up and says 'I can still do it ', he's a champion. Wrestling is a great sport that comes with both many benefits and requirements because wrestling in school would make the cut for a perfect fitness lesson as it is a recipe for physical and mental fitness and a distraction from toxic digital content. It helps to instill discipline and is a great calling to commitment and focus.


Sukhraj Singh, a X grade student is proud wrestler of CT Public School. He participated in the 39th Sub Junior Greco-Roman Wrestling Championship hosted by Guru Harsahai and bagged the 2nd position. He won three bouts from FaridkotKapurthala and Ferozepur. However, he lost his final bout by 8/4 points from Amritsar.Principal Mr. Daljeet Singh and Vice Principal Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur applauded the commendable efforts of the young wrestler and wished him success for his future ventures. Mr.Singh quoted the words of Dan Gable that, "Gold medals aren't really made of gold. They're made of sweat, determination and a hard-to-find alloy called guts".

Reading Activity

"The newspaper is the greater treasure to the people than uncounted millions of gold".
Newspapers are the treasure house of English Language. Reading Habits make students active learners .Daily reading of newspaper increasing the repertoire of students vocabulary. It also helps to keep students updated with current development of country and the world .Even they enhance students' Writing Skills. It makes students good orators and help them in taking active part in debates and speeches .An initiative was taken by the teachers of primary wing to inculcate the habit of reading newspaper among the students. Students read "Cee Tee World" newspaper (an in house production of CT group) In their classes. Principal Mr Daljeet Singh Rana and Vice Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur admired the the efforts taken by the students.

Birthday Celebrations

‘ Plant a tree to celebrate a birthday, an anniversary, a promotion or a business success. Tree hugging is the easiest yoga art to connect you with nature. ’

Aasma of grade III A CT Public School celebrated her birthday with a great zeal and cheer by planting a sapling. CTPS believes in infusing culture and ethics among students and bringing them close to Mother Nature. Children feel responsible for the conservation of eco system and making environment healthy and clean.

 

 

The Principal Mr.Daljeet Singh Rana and Vice Principal Mrs.Sukhdeep Kaur highly appreciated the concern of the child and greeted her with a greeting card. Coordinator Ms Baruna and The class incharge Ms.Upasna congratulated a child wishes her bright, happy and healthy long life.

Workshop on Social Security for Women

Mrs. Monica Aggarwal & Mrs. Ramanpreet Kaur teachers of CT Public School attended a workshop organised by Department of Social Security for Women and Child DevelopmentPunjab on the protection of children from getting themselves indulged in unlawful activities. The resource person was Advocate Ahluwalia who made the audience aware about the initiatives taken by the State & Central Government. He highlighted the importance of awareness saying that a well informed person can play a significant role in the development of the society as a whole & specially Children learn what they observe. Many Academicians & Scholars discussed their opinions with the resource person.

Birthday Celebrations

 Save Earth,Save Environment We can save Earth in multiple ways: plant a tree, pick up trash, purchase biodegradable products, and commit to reduce, reuse and recycle. Planting trees is one of the easiest and most sustainable way to positively affect the environment. CT Public School has taken a compaign 'Birthday Saplings' where students are encouraged to plant Saplings on their birthdays.


It is rightly said *Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn* that's why we made it a point to plant saplings with the birthday students to lay green foundation for our future. *Akshra of Class 5th Achievers,Sarvpreet of Class 4th Achievers, Hargurveer of Class 2nd Adorable* brought saplings of flowering plants in the school campus to celebrate their birthday. *Principal of the school, Mr. Daljeet Singh *said, The main idea for this initiative is to generate kids' interest in environment and create the sense of responsibility(towards environment) in the child's behavior and foster environmental stewardship. Students who are the primary planters today and by planting saplings themselves it gives them a sense of ownership and increased their knowledge of trees.

Commendations to Haradhya Kaur

Haradhya Kaur of grade lst Achievers of CT Public School enthralled the audience with her well-choreographed dance sequence and provided thorough entertainment with her graceful and energetic moves in dance competition.It was Punjab State Dance Sports Competition of state level held on 29th Dec 2019 at Shanti Devi AuditoriumLPU. She won Gold medal as stood first in Hip Hop dance . She tried Hip Hop form of dance first time . She has also qualified for the national level..And one more Feather on her Cap is she has participated in group dance for Lohri Dhamal on 5th jan 20 in Hotel DownTown . It was related to punjabi culture and their group secured second position...Big congratulations to the budding artist.Principal MrDaljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur said that dancing is the most beautiful art because it is not mere translation or abstraction from life, it is life itself. They congratulated and appreciated the efforts made by her and parents .

She bagged the First Position at Punjab state level Dance Sports Championship held at LPU on 29th December'19 And one more Feather on her Cap* She got another First Position in Taare Zameen Par , Dance Category held in Red Cross Bhawan.She has made her mark and got selected for National level too. Harshita-Proud student of CT

We are proud of Harshita from CT Public School Fifth- Achievers who has been selected for the Bollywood movie by 3rd Eye Productions, Director Kunwar Amit Singh for which she will be going to Delhi for semi-finals. She was awarded as Best Photogenic Face and was appreciated for her marvellous performance in dance at India's Next Master Kid (Quarter finals) held at Chandigarh. The Principal Mr Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Mrs Sukhdeep kaur congratulated Harshita for her great achievement.

India Next Master Kids Competition

It's a moment of Proud to announce that Aillish from CT Public School UKG---AMBITIOUS class has been selected for the semi finale of an upcoming TV show India Next Master Kids out of 188 contestants in quarter finale held atChandigarh where Kahan Hum Kahan Tum and Ye Mohabbtein fame TV celebrity Abhishek Malik presided as a judge.
The Principal Mr Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Mrs Sukhdeep kaur congratulated Aillish for her great achievement. Keep growing. Keep shining Aillish. Sky's the limit.

Shree Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Samelan

To encourage the young minds to appreciate and perfect themselves in the field of Hindustani Classical Music, and to bring out the best amongst the competitors, an open competition in Hindustani Classical Music was started by Shree Baba Harivallabh Sangeet Mahasabha (Regd.), Jalandhar - Punjab in the year 1979. Since then it is organized every year and CT PUBLIC SCHOOL was fortunate enough to participate in this competition.The following students participated in Saraswati Vandana snd Harivallabh Vandana and won the trophy and a cash prize of Rs.1100 for their remarkable performance.
Saurav Joshi, Gurwinder Singh, Manishika, Kuljinder, Arshdeep, Khushnoor, Nikita Seth, Samarjeet Singh & Atinder Kaur.

 

 


The enchanting & melodious voices of the young CTian singers and the harmonious notes of Harmonium and tabla played by madam Kiran Sharma and Mr.Neeraj,the music faculty of CT
touched the souls of enlightened audiences.
This magnificent achievement was appreciated by the great musicians, the devoted audience and the dedicated ‘Harivallabh’ team.
The Principal of CT, Mr.Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur felt elated at this achievement and said CT would continue to participate in such events in future as well so that the students develop love for the Indian classical music.

For some it is a matter of sheer devotion,
for some it is a pilgrimage and
for some it is a mission to preserve the best in Indian Classical Music,
that attracts them to this Sangeet Sammelan and

to receive the blessings from the great seat of music.

Trees are one of the precious gifts which have been given by Mother Nature to every living being and are also called as “green gold”.We all know trees help Earth in purifying the air and absorbing the carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.We all must plant trees on every possible occasion. Avni of grade 4th celebrated her birthday by planting sapling and seeking blessings. Principal Mr Daljeet Rana and Vice- Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur congratulated the birthday girl and blessed her on her big day.

Christmas Celebrations

The Best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear. The function was graced by worthy MD Sir Mr.Manbir singh , principal Mr.Daljeet Rana, Vice principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur, wing Incharge Mrs. Neena Sethi. The children were dressed as Santaclaus..in red and white. It was great time and fun for kids celebrating and enjoying Christmas . The students performed dance and sang Merry Christmas song. A speech was presented by Aarav Nanda and Hasrat soni as it was the birthday of little Nirvair Singh. So the students got chocolates and cake treat.

The children received Christmas gifts which was fun loving time for them.Overall it was fun and frolic time for kids.Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

National Consumer Day Celebrations

Every year 24th December is observed as National Consumer Day. The day provides an opportunity to highlight the importance of the consumer movement and the need to make every consumer more aware of their rights and responsibilities. The day is celebrated annually on 24th December to mark the enactment of the Consumer Protection Act 1986.
A session was conducted to sensitise learners of grade 11th of CT Public School, Jalandhar, and encourage them to participate in the consumer movement.
