May 29, 2020Once you have mastered time, you will understand how true it is that most people overestimate what they can accomplish in a year – and underestimate what they can achieve in a decade!
Time management is the process of planning and exercising conscious control of time spent on specific activities, especially to increase effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity. It involves a juggling act of various demands upon a person relating to work, social life, family, hobbies, personal interests and commitments with the finiteness of time. Using time effectively gives the person "choice" on spending/managing activities at their own time and expediency.
Vice-Principal of CT Public School, Ms Sukhdeep Kaur took a motivational session on Time managementwith the students of grade 5th.
She told that Time management can be aided by a range of skills, tools, and techniques. It can be used to manage time when accomplishing specific tasks, projects, and goals complying with a due date. Students will make their Time Table and share it with Ma’am.
It was a wonderful interactive session, students and parents we were happy with the session. Students said that they miss their school, teachers, friends and want to come to school as early as possible.

May 27, 2020A beautiful virtual meditation session of students of XI and XII Commerce was held by the teachers of CT Public School. In these days of lockdown, there us such a lot of negativity around which is suppressing our thoughts as well as action. So this meditation session was a great opportunity to feed our mind and soul with positive vibes and try to escalate in life and reach the zenith of success. It was said that children should not be pushed around by the fears in their minds. Instead of worrying about what we cannot control, we must shift our energy to what we can create. Meditation helps us to renew our lives and start afresh.
The children really enjoyed this learning session and promised to do yoga, meditate and exercise for good health and happiness. Principal, Mr. Daljeet Singh, motivated the students to remain positive and focus on their studies and be successful in life.
Working from home can cause employees to feel isolated from office communications. During this period, it’s perfectly okay to communicate to make sure you’re constantly updating employees on any developments, changes or impacts to their work.
Keeping this in mind,a staff meeting was conducted by the Principal,Mr.Daljeet Singh to address the situation, share ongoing updates, deliver clear guidelines on new protocols ,ways of working and also on how to optimise our efficiency at home.
As a leader, he mapped out his vision for his team which is incredibly motivating. He inspired the staff by encouraging innovation, creativity ,discovering new ways of working and giving constructive suggestions that can help to achieve the objectives of the institution. In these difficult and anxious times he wanted to reach out to staff and update how we at CT Public School would like to approach and deal with the prevailing ambiguous context. He appreciated the talented and ever-willing –to- work staff, both teaching and non-teaching, showing their care and concern for the school and students, working from home preparing notes and engaging classes online for the benefit of students. He appreciated their concern for the students and commitment to academics.
He said that this is the moment we are called to be our best selves in tune with the vision and mission of CT PUBLIC SCHOOL.
"A school is four walls with tomorrow inside.."
The COVID-19 outbreak has disrupted the education of almost all the students of the world. Children miss their school .
Time spent in a school is essential for human life. In school we learn to respect teachers and gain progress. School is an institution where knowledge is shared for goodness of society. School is a temple of learning with many extracurricular activities such as sports, competitions, lab, fairs etc.,
We learn to respect time at home and at school in a disciplined manner. Just a small gesture from the students of Second B of CT Public School that shows how children are missing their school, teachers, friends, classrooms, playground, canteen, library, etc. They also prayed in the hope that everything turns out fine one day by singing the beautiful song.....
We shall overcome.. We shall overcome.. We shall overcome some day..

*Successful and unsuccessful people do not vary greatly in their abilities. They vary in their desires to reach their potential.*
The students of XII Science participated in a wonderful motivational workshop hosted by Principal of CT Public School, Mr. Daljeet Singh. He motivated the students to work hard and remain positive in these days of lockdown. Student motivation is a student's desire to participate in the learning process. It is the meaningfulness, value, and benefits that an academic task has to the learner. It's important to motivate students as it is the key to a student's school success and is the driving force behind successful learning. In order for a student to be motivated, they need to have a positive attitude towards learning. The students interacted with the Principal and understood the importance of hardwork and to progress steadily. No one can be perfect all the time, and progress is the only way that you can improve. *Smart Goal Setting With Students*
The Principal of CT Public School , Mr. Daljeet Rana took a virtual session with the students of standard IX on 22nd May, 2020. It was quite informative and interactive session with them. He said that when the students are able to set goals, it helps them be accountable for every action or step they take. “Having goals makes learners aware of their actions, efforts, and even their time management skills. Setting goals obligates them to take action, regardless of the obstacles that may be in place.
He believes one of the best parts of being a teacher is when you are able to ignite a spark in a student or help them discover a new passion. He is constantly telling his students to reach for the stars, do more than they think they can and the sky's the limit. The students were highly thankful to their Principal Sir for such a nice session .
