Virtual Quiz Competition for Class VIII

 A  Virtual Quiz Competition ,”Quiz Buzz “was organized by  CT Public School on November10,2020 for the students of class VIII.

 

It was a 2 stage competition which covered the areas of Science, Maths, Social Science and Computer.There were a total of 4 teams from all the sections of class VIII who were short listed after a written  preliminary session.The first round  of the quizbuzz was a question answer round. Each team was asked questions related to the varied topics .The second round was a visual round and the third round was rapid fire round. All the teams were well prepared and the competition was very tough. The students surprised the audience with their in-depth knowledge . Mr.Rajesh Shukla and Ms. Radhika were the incharges of the quiz who had trained their students to perform excellently The students used their logical thinking, reasoning ability along with observational and analytical skills with immense enthusiasm and excitement during the event. It was a great learning experience and the students enjoyed it thoroughly. 
It provided an opportunity for the participants as well as the non participants to explorer world of Maths , Science,Social Science and Computer.It was a wonderful learning experience for the students as well as the teachers .
The Principal,Mr.Daljeet Rana and Vice principal,Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur applauded the efforts of the team in smooth conduct of the event and congratulated the winners.
Overall it was very informative and knowledge enriching competition .

Deepavali Celebrations in Grade I & II

 The much-awaited Indian festival of lights, Diwali is just around the corner.

Also called as Deepavali, this festival marks the celebration of togetherness, love, and sharing.
Why not use this time to get away from the hectic study spree and steal slices of joy through craft items made with waste material.
 
 
 
So this year the art teacher decided to do some Diwali art and craft with her kids so they can learn about this festival and contribute their share in Diwali celebrations. Through this way,  the teacher taught students about being responsible and they were happy to create some cute handmade pieces for Diwali decorations. 
The students of class first and second under the guidance of Ms Bhawna, Art Teacher made the craft items and shared their pics. Their work was appreciated by all.

 *When you believe it, you've created it, whatever it is*

In order to give practical and real time touch to the theories of Business Management *CT Public school* conducted a funny advertisement competition *AD MAD SHOW* .
Various Students participated in this competition and display their marketing skills with innovative ideas.

Online Public Speaking Winter Challenge 2020

 Prabhjot Kaur a pass out of CT Public School is really very thankful to her Alma Mater, the Management, Principal, her teachers especially Ms. Harpreet Panesar who have always helped and encouraged her to participate confidently in public speaking programs.

Seminar on Fundamental Rights

Fundamental Rights belong to the human being just because you are a human being".We all are citizen of our country and have various rights and responsibilities towards our village ,city, society, state and country,.Rights and duties of each citizen are very valuable and inter-related. Every state or country provides its citizens some fundamental civil rights such as personal rights, religious rights ,social rights ,moral rights, economic rights.
We are expected to sacrifice time to time in order to protect our country .Constitution of India has granted six fundamental rights to its citizens. India is known for its unity in diversity and the reason for this is the fundamental rights that the constitution empower its citizens with.
 
 
 
To inculcate the nationalistic feelings among students , an activity was organised in class VIII on the topic 'Fundamental Rights'. Students participated in it with great enthusiasm.

It helped the student's to learn their fundamental rights and made them responsible for performing fundamental duties also.

Halloween Festival

Halloween, a global festival, was celebrated today with much fun by students of CT Public School
The students from grade I-VIII dressed up in various costumes to celebrate the spirit of Halloween and shared their pictures also.The students dressed themselves in various outfits to mark the welcoming of good spirits and driving away of the bad spirits in their lives.
 
 
This activity was organised to encourage the students to appreciate differences in cultures and customs and also to make them aware of global festivals and values.

The CTPS Principal Mr.Daljeet Singh and Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep kaur extended their best wishes to all the students .

Panel Discussion

 The students from grade IX -XII took part in a panel discussion on the topic: 'Is Parental Supervision the Same as Parental Control'. This healthy discussion sparked conversation between our panellists who were students hailing from IX to XII were Amanvir Singh, Sukriti Mehta, Samarth Sharma, Sehajdeep Saini, Joyna Khurana, Harshpreet Singh, Harmohit Singh, Khushi Sachdeva, Gaganpreet Singh and Rahul Kumar. The children so that the audience can learn from their discourse and interaction.



The moderator, Ms. Harpreet Panesar put forth various questions pertaining to the topic to which the participants and audience questions who expressed themselves very well. The session was not only informative but also very entertaining. Principal Mr. Daljeet Singh and Vice Principal Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur applauded the participants for their participation in the discussion.

Virtual Role Play Competition

 A virtual role play competition for students of CT PUBLIC SCHOOL and CT WORLD was organized on 21st October,2020. Enthusiastic participants from classes 6th to 8th adorned the event with their colourful dresses and mesmerizing monologue, displaying their creativity and confidence in the different roles they played. They depicted famous writers, sportspersons, characters from the English plays,freedom fighters and national personalities. The objective of organising the competition was to develop confidence of the children and to promote the skills of effective public speaking among them. The event was a blend of education and fun filled activities. All the students put up their best show. The competition proved to be a great learning experience for the students.


The presentations were very enrapturing and this made it difficult for the judges to come to a definite conclusion.The Principal, Mr.Daljeet Singh and Vice Principal, Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the tremendous efforts put in by the students, teachers and parents to make it a success .

Show and Tell Competition

 A virtual "Show and Tell" competition for grade 1to 5 was organized in CTPS on 20 October 2020. The CTPS Principal Mr. Daljeet Singh Rana welcomed all the students and appreciated the efforts of teachers, students and parents. He interacted with the students and motivated them to give their best performance. He further added that it's also a great way to encourage child's interest in a particular topic and a chance for children to think outside the box.
The competition was divided into two categories. In category 1 students from grade 1and 2 participated and in category 2 students from class 3 to 5 participated. In this competition students brought their favourite objects on the virtual screen ,spoke confidently about that object and impressed the audience by showcasing their talent .


This was an inter school competition in which the students from : CT World School, Kendrya Vidyalayas and CT Public school participated.
Students took part with a great zeal . They described the objects with a lot of confidence, facial expressions and voice modulation. They learned and experienced public speaking - a skill a child will use throughout his life.
The winners of the competition will be provided with an e-certificate. The names of winners are as follows:

SESSION BY myPAT

 An interactive session was organized by CT PUBLIC SCHOOL  for the students of IX to XII  who aspire for  JEE Advanced, JEE Main ,BITSAT, KVPY or NTSE .  Mr.Gautam Julka , the Vice President in Edfora infotech Pvt. limited,   having a rich experience of 16 years  with this esteemed  institution , guided the students with  some useful techniques that yield good academic results. 

Ms. Meenu Mehta' motivated the students to derive as much benefits as they can, through their questions.

Mr.Manoj Kumar ,the Area Manager of My pat ( Fitzee) told that myPAT is India’s Largest Online Learning and Assessment Platform for students aspiring for such  exams. He further added that the students will be empowered throughout their academic journey with it and it  will be  helpful to them to  identify their strengths and weaknesses with their in-depth analytical skills. 
The Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana concluded the session by saying that we support our students  in their journey towards success  by helping them to improve faster than any other traditional method of learning  especially in this challenging year.

International Panel Discussion

 Re-imagining  Education  Post-Pandemic.

 
Following the Challenge,  a wonderful virtual  panel discussion was organized by CT PUBLIC SCHOOL and CT World School today in which  a galaxy of  international experts  and researchers - Mrs. Madhu Sharma Principal CT World School, Dr.Shama Hussain,  Mr.Monis Shamshi ,Ms.Mukta Sharma ,Dr.Jayant Chowdhari, Mr. Neeraj Mohan Puri, Mr.Surjeet Singh, Ms.Suchi Deshpande and Mr.Prem Kumar -   gave their valuable  and innovative inputs to better understand how current solutions and practices  that may foreshadow future trends in education. 
 The session  was  really a  blessing in abundance by way of exploring new domains, ways and means of educational enhancement. 
 
 
All the panellists shared their wonderful views and perceptions. They infused the learners with positivity. They proved with their experiences that Covid -19 is a 'blessing in disguise'. 
The Principal Mr Daljeet Rana thanked all the speakers and educators for exchanging their excellent views.

The freedom of expression without any hesitation   at elementary level is very important for the children
The students were informed to bring their favorite toy or any object of their choice. They were excited to share their descriptive narration and waited eagerly for their turn to show and tell. Thus, this event helped our tiny tots to build their social, emotional and language skills.
 
 
Show and tell’ is an important part of children’s learning and development, as it helps them to organize information and builds their confidence.

Virtual Panel Discussion

 The Classroom of Tomorrow - A Panel Discussion

 
Technology is changing the way we approach education, rapidly. But what will tomorrow’s  classroom actually look like? 
A  virtual panel discussion was organized by CT PUBLIC SCHOOL, in which the students from the  classes IX to XII  were invited for a spirited  debate on the topic 
' IS PARENTAL SUPERVISION SAME AS PARENTAL CONTROL?'
The panelists knew how to create a cohesive experience and facilitate a memorable conversation amongst them. 
The questions asked by the host Ms. Harpreet Panasar were really great, that  invited the panelists to bring out the best responses showcasing their knowledge and experiences. 
 
 
The Principal Mr. Daljit Rana concluded the debate by saying that we may not be able to prepare the future of our children but we can prepare our children for the future.

Online Literary Competition of Classes I-V

 A virtual " Show and Tell" competition for grade 1to 5  was organized in CTPS on 20 October 2020. The CTPS Principal Mr.Daljeet Singh Rana welcomed all the students and appreciated the efforts of teachers, students and parents. He interacted with the students and motivated them to give their best performance.He further added that it's also a great way to encourage child's interest in a particular topic and a chance for children to think outside the box.

Depicting Expressions

Such activities helps  in the comprehensive learning of child development in the early stages of life.

Virtual Alumni Meet held in CT Public School

CT Public school  has organized an Alumni interaction on the 17th of October 2020 ,on the Virtual Platform. It was attended by the students  and teachers of the school  across the many academic sessions the institution has seen right from its inception in the year 1997.
The meet started off at the scheduled time with the welcome address by  the Academic Co ordinator, Ms. Harpreet Panasar . She  was delighted to be connected to the participants.
Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur, the Vice Principal delivered the opening note by sharing her thoughts and the  Role of CTPS in Shaping  their  Life.
 
 
This was followed by the Inaugural  Shabad  Singing by Ms. Kiran Sharma, HOD Music .
Then the Principal  Mr.Daljit Rana  thanked the management for organizing the meet and showered praises on the students in instilling the confidence that was a key aspect in shaping their  career. 
 
Ms. Amrit Kalsi ,the Coordinator of the  happiness department, in her  address, shared her  pleasant memories of the that times and expressed her  gratitude to the faculty in striving to give the best to their students.
 
Our  prominent alumni of the school  , Kushagra Sagar 
 was delighted to be connected to the school, over the decade  after passing out in the year 2010. 
It was indeed wonderful to note that the memories of the school were still afresh in his mind. 
 
The worthy  Chairman of CT group of Institutions ,  Sardar Charanjit Singh ji Channi also addressed the participants 
and listened to their problems and  provided them possible solutions.  He added that our intitutions have  touched and shaped the lives of innumerable students providing them with a holistic education.
 
Our alumni teachers - Ms.Manju Virk ,Ms. Pushpinder Lehiri ,Ms. Amita Kochchar ,Ms.Arwinder Kaur  Ms.Mandeep Kaur  were  elated to be connected with the school and relived the moments ,they  spent together. They credited  all  their  success to the fruitful years spent in school.
 
 Former  Vice Principal, Mr. Sukhvinder Singh also attended the meet and was  overwhelmed recalling his  memories of the school .
 
The Vice-Principal rendered the vote of thanks and reiterated the fact that the school  is  constantly working to connect with more and more alumni of the school . 
The  participants  also enjoyed a virtual tour of the  journey of our worthy  Chairman Sir's life  through a video.
 
The event was a huge success in achieving its aim of exposing the students to the rich alumni base of the school.

RESULT DAY OF KINDERGARTEN

 It feels so good when child visits first time in school and feels so happy. Today our daughter visited CT Kindergarten to meet her class teacher and to know her performance. 

 
 
She feels so happy to see all the activities rooms, Skating ground, Dining Room, Swimming pool etc. she is so exciting to go to to school daily. 
Hope for tbe best that situation become normal soon and Aarayna go to school. We are so happy and satisfied that we choose  CT for our daughter. A lot of thanks to all the CT Faculty members.

Assessments play a very vital role to check the performance and abilities of students for what they have learnt during their classroom studies. The proud parents of C T Public School offered a big thanks to the teachers for showing their care, support,collaboration and most importantly patience to solve the problems of both students and parents round the clock.They also admired the support and encouragement given to the students which is really helping  to bring the confidence in their wards. The children are making the efficient use of this time and are bringing out their creativity to life.
