Happy children returning to school

Although going to school now involves adjusting to many precautionary steps, all the children of CT Public School, Jalandhar, shared their sentiments that they are really happy to be back at school on the festival of Basant Panchami  that was celebrated with gaiety and  kites flying today. The kites depicting evils like anger, hatred ,jealousy etc were soared  in the sky indicating the elimination of such evils  from the society. The Principal and Vice-Principal congratulated everyone and wished their minds be filled with good thoughts and positivity.

Basant Celebrations

A harsh winters ends and mustard flowers bloom.....which is symbol of Basant.*

CT kindergarten organised the Basant celebration with support of Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep kaur. The event was graced by Saraswati Pujan the Goddess of Wisdom.

All the tiny tots were dressed in yellow as the colour  yellow showers the brightness after harsh winters.As the sun was bright and children relished the food by sharing with their friends. A change in vicinity of nature is always fun for kids. They had great time today with lot of activities on this Basant celebration.

Workshop by Mr. Vikas Nagru

Founder and Director of Brain Infinity, Mr Vikas Nagru, who is a famous "Mind Trainer" due to his inspiring and unique techniques of Brain Training. Mr. Nagru has experience of working with many renowned organizations. He has a strong belief that an individual with relaxed mind can lead a more action oriented lfe .
Mr. Nagru conducted a session for the parents and teachers of CT Public School, to train them to lead a stress free life. Now the parents and teachers are much hopeful to help the children to grow and do well in life.

The Principal Mr.Daljeet Rana appreciated him by saying that in last 8 years of his journey as a Mind Trainer and Parenting Coach, he has impacted more than 21000 lives through his Stress Free Education & Life Workshops, Parenting and Teacher Training workshops.
The Vice Principal ,Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur added that if we want to be a high achiever, we must train our brain to think in a way that sets us up for success.

CT Public School was proud to welcome Founder and Director of Brain Infinity, MrVikas Nagru, who is a famous "Mind Trainer" due to his inspiring and unique techniques of Brain Training. Mr. Nagru has experience of working with organizations like Development credit bank, ABN Amro Bank, Fullerton India Credit Company Limited. He has a strong belief that an individual with relaxed mind can lead a more action oriented lfe thusmaking a positive impact to the bottom line of an organization.In last 8 years of his journey as a Mind Trainer and Parenting Coach, he has impacted more than 21000 lives through his Stress Free Education & Life Workshops, Parenting and Teacher Training workshops.

He shall be taking up a session of our senior students to train them to lead a stress free life and face the board exams with confidence. These days students face a lot of stress which leads to their low self-esteem. They have difficulty in handling different situation, sleep disorder, decreased attention and abnormal appetite which eventually effects their academic achievement and personal growth. Mr. Nagru will help the students to combat their problems and excel in life.

Learning in the vicinity of school becomes healthy because children pick many new things from school and they can share their ideas, thoughts with each other. So, it was great learning experience for kids.

Inter Class Extempore

With the aim to boost confidence in students

and make them fearlessly express their views, the English department of CT Public School organized an Inter-class Extempore for students of Grade VI and VII digitally. It was a platform for young and budding orators to be able to express their thoughts with confidence and flai in speech on various topics like

Healthy foods.

Are we too dependent on computers?

Are video games responsible for bad behavior among children?

Should we be judged by how we dress?

What is a better measure of success money or wisdom?

Should companies be allowed to market junk food?

Animals have rights.

 
The participants were given a topic to speak on and were adjudged for voice quality, speech, content and delivery standards.
Shaina Mohan of VI (Achievers) won the first position .
lshaan and Kashish of VIl (Adorable) won second position.
Sihana Sachdeva and Nandini of VI (Adorable) won the third position.

Principal, Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur, appreciated the efforts of the teachers as well as the efforts of the students who showcased their talent.

CODING CLASSES

When Art is integrated with education, it helps the child apply art based enquiry, investigation and exploration, critical thinking and creativity for a deeper understanding of the concepts/ topics. Aryan Raj, student of Class VIII Adorable made beautiful webpages on different monuments of Andhra Pradesh with the help of HTMl that he is learning in the Coding Classes under Art Integration.

The Principal of the school, Mr. Daljeet Singh appreciated the efforts of the young tech savvy.

SEMINAR BY CT GLOBAL

Achieving an ideal score, that is, at least 7 as both overall band score and sectional band score in the exam is important for students to enhance their chances of getting an admit in a foreign university of their own choice. But a small percentage of students manage to score above the 6.5 band score. This implies that though scoring above 6.5 in the test is indeed a difficult task, but this session with students implied that with consistent and systematic preparations, it is possible for one to score high marks. Once you form a clear idea of the IELTS scoring mechanism, IELTS criteria for different universities, IELTS test patterns and the section-wise preparation tips and tricks, it will be easier for you to maneuver through this test and achieve a reasonable score.

III Alumni Talk

The sweetness of reunion is the joy of heaven. ...

Virtual Alumni Talk Show was organised by CT PUBLIC SCHOOL on 29 January,2021. It was a wonderful reunion of alumni, students, faculty and staff members of the  school.The concept of alumni talk at CT was evolved for needs from both the ends, i.e. academicians and professionals, in the aim of building a bridge between school life and career life, so that the freshers  are made proactive to face the current challenges of competitive professional world. It was a pleasure to see alumni gather together ,coming from different parts of the World. The day  recalled the memories of good old memorable days. 
 Many alumni opined that the key reason for their success is the platform the institute provided them and the amount of support provided by the management during their study period.The Alumni Talk was a dream come true for the school.This however, was possible due to proper and effective guidance by our Respected Principal   Mr. Daljit Singh Rana. The charming, spectacular and awesome day ended with memories to cherish and with new hopes. It was the day full of enjoyment, enthusiasm, sharing and immense pleasure We thank all heads of departments, committee coordinators, faculty, staff and students for their continuous support to  make the alumni event successful.Sincere thanks to our CT alumni :- Kripa Seth, Pratibh Seth , Kanika Sagar, Siddharth Sharma, Tanisha Gupta, Jasleen, Jaisika and Shahnaz Arora  who spared their valuable time to grace the occasion.

Colors Fest-2021

Art in all its forms and glory was well presented by students.

Colors 2021, a Virtual Inter-School Fiesta was organised by CT Group of Institutions, North Campus on 22nd Jan'21. Where the students participated in various activities as Dance, Art, Music, Quiz, Best Out of Waste, Project Display, etc. All in all Colors Fest was a grand success underlining the importance of co-curricular activities in school. CT Public School bagged first position in Solo Singing, Second prize in dance and Quiz in the finale held on 28th Jan.'21. Principal Mr Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur congratulated the winners and motivated them to work harder for future.

FELICITATIONS TO MALALA STUDENTS

CT Public School marked National Girl Child Day on January 27, in which a few girls studying under the 'Malala Scheme in the school were felicitated. On this occasion, CT Group's co-chairperson Parminder Kaur Channi motivated the girls along with their parents, especial ly mothers, to strengthen the spirit of girls and pro vide equal respect and opportunities to them. Further, she distributed blankets to these girls.

Gurpurab Celebrations

It is one of the several auspicious religious festivals in Sikkhism...Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti

It commemorates the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj, the 10th guru of the Sikhs. He was born in Patna, and through his life set an example for others by always standing up for righteousness and equality. The students of CT Kindergarten shared their videos praying to the lord. The little tiny tots involve themselves in each activity and all religious festivals and enthusiastically participate for every event.
