CREATIVITY BY IT STUDENTS OF GRADE IX

YOGA SESSION
Yoga adds years to your life. And life to your years".
Yoga is an invaluable gift of India’s ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being".
An online yoga session was conducted with full fervor by Ms. Bani Chawla , where students, teachers participated with passion and keenness. Students started their day with some yoga asanas??????
The online session started at 6:30 am in the pleasant morning. Along with more than forty students teachers also participated with great enthusiasm. In this session Ms. Bani Chawla along with Ms. Hema Bhasin demonstrated asanas and explained importance of yog. Warm up exercises were taken and all the students performed sitting and standing asanas like Anulom Vilom, , Butterfly Aasan, Bhujangasana, Taad Aasan, Ardh Sarp Aasan, Tree Pose Aasan, Airplane Pose, Trikon Aasan, Omkar chanting followed by Gayatri Mantra.
The International Yoga trainer Mr. Manjur Ahmed also joined us and shared his life journey.
Overall it was a wonderful beginning of the day.
#The Principal #Mr.Daljeet Singh Rana and Vice Principal #Mrs. Sukhdeep kaur congratulated all the teachers and the students for successfully accomplishing the session. Principal sir encouraged all the students to practice regular yoga to remain fit and improve concentration. He further added that regular practice of yoga will surely help our students achieve a better life, physically, mentally and spiritually as well.
Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep kaur said that during this crucial time where everyone is locked down in their homes and feel low and depressed, only Yoga can help them to overcome their problems and tensions .

Alumni Talk
CTPS has a rich legacy of 24 years and since then had accomplished many targets.
Success is a combination of desire and passion, and with that being said, the school has created among all children this value and have implemented in their academics to perform excellently in their respective subjects. We are really proud to see that our students are well placed in life and have a wonderful career.
CT Public School, is a place where the children learn a whole gamut of subjects such as the more serious and attention-seeking ones like the science and maths to the ones that we learn while we are merely practising them like sports and art, is a hub of all the activities.
Today 15th Virtual Alumni Talk Show was conducted in which our beloved Divyansh , Parjot Singh. Sarabjit Singh, Himesh Verma, Taranjeet Kaur, Ritika Moudgil and Krishanvir Singh had a hearty talk with their teachers. The students mesmerized their happy moments spent in CTPS and the great mentors they had, who helped to transform their lives.

DANCE CLASSES IN CT KINDERGARTEN

Dance is important form of excerise which is important and can be done at any age.Dance give joy and happiness and keeping this thought today CT kindergarten organised dance activity with all classes of kindergarten under the guidance of dance teacher Mr. vimal.
Dance gives immense joy and releases all the body toxins out.It also helps to generate good blood circulation in our body.Dance is type of Aerobics which keep our body fit and full of energy. Such form dance activities enhances the motion of the body and keeps the body healthy.Kids always enjoy music and dance because it challeises their engery level.

EID Celebrations
*Secularism must be applied everywhere, because that is how everyone will be able to live in peace with each other. ...*
Keeping secularism in view CT kindergarten organised activity for celebrating Eid. Children made beautiful cards to show the respect and honour for Eid festival.
It is a celebration to mark the end of Ramzan, a holy month in which Muslims observe fast during the day and do charity which is also called Zakat. On this auspicious day, people perform prayers to seek blessings. People wear new clothes, greet friends and family and celebrate by having a feast.
It was great accomplishment by the children to learn how to respect all the religions.

SENIOR KG ACTIVITY
Senior KG class was made to learn sight words in the online class.
The purpose to make the children learn sight words was to make them aware with sentence formation as well as learning of sight words.
By eliminating the need to stop and decode sight words, readers are able to focus on words that are less familiar and more difficult. And teaching sight words not only helps students read more fluently, it helps them write more efficiently too.
By learning sight words child will be able to read faster, more fluently, and gain confidence in their literacy skills. Plus, they won't stumble through common words that can be tricky for early readers, such as the silent “e” at the end of “like.”
The children enthusiastically participated in this activity and tried to frame different sentences using the sight words.

Ramnik Kaur, a grade IX student of CT Public School made her alma mater proud by participating in ' Race to Space and was ranked in first five students from 10,000 school students across pan India. She attended the coding classes and was awarded a certificate approved by- Nishu Goyal(CTO, LIDO LEARNING, IIT Madrid) ,
Sahil Seth (CEO , KIDO LEARNING, Duke University) ,
Nandini Mullaji (CSO, LIDO LEARNING, Stanford University) and Harward University. Principal Mr. Daljeet Singh congratulated the talented young Ramnik Kaur for her great endeavour and blessed her for her future venture. In added that students should utilise their free time to search their true potential and achieve success in life.

App Making on National Technology Day
Our school has taken a new initiative of CCS that is , Coding & Computational Skills in which our students are learning new Softwares like creating an app using App Inventor & doing block programming. When students make apps, they learn valuable STEM skills like coding, programming, graphic design, and content creation. Techno Minds of Grade VIII have showcased their creative skills and created a User Interface of the app with the help of button & Label components under the guidance of their CCS Mentor, Ms. Radhika Bhardwaj. The creative skills of the students were appreciated by the Principal of the school, Mr. Daljeet Singh.

KINDERGARTEN MOTHER'S DAY CELEBRATIONS
Mother's love is always unconditional love.All the mothers on the earth are unique as a flower having beautiful fragrance.
It is rightly said the first school in child's life is his mother's lap. Mothers are always a true guide for a child from the time of birth till death.
*Live fun and frolic activity of Mother's Day was conducted in CT Kindergarten under the guidance of Principal Mr.Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal mam Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur*
The function started with this slideshow where the children showed the gesture of love for the mommies,further the function proceeded with the welcome speech and addressing to the mothers by worthy Principal sir.
The Mother's performed dance showing their love and care for their children. They shared their views regarding mothers and funny interesting games like memory game, buttoning the shirt and knotting the tie were conducted to make the function lively.
It was a great function and all the mothers enjoyed the activity thoroughly. The function culminated with vote of thanks shared by Vice Principal mam with her inspirational words for motivating mothers and thanking them for the lovely efforts for making the function a grand success .
Children always love and respect their mothers because their presence always make them lively and secure throughout their life. A child always feel incomplete without the presence of his mother .

This year the pandemic could not dampen the spirit of students ,parents and faculty members of CT Public School in providing a unique testing platform to students without missing the FUN element in it.
CT Public School ,Maqsudan organised a virtual *Cook with Mom & For Mom* competition with celebrity *Chef ,Dr. Varinder Singh Rana* on Thursday (May 6, 2021) to celebrate *Mother's Day*.The students from all classes along with their mothers participated in the event with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. It provided an opportunity for the parents to be co-participants who enthusiastically joined in the fun to prepare Apple Semolina pan cake . All the CHEFTASTICS – were given a unique opportunity to showcase their culinary skills.
The participants displayed unbridled enthusiasm and excellent team spirit. The budding chefs had the chance to show their great creativity in preparing and presenting their dish.The Principal,Mr.Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal,Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur appreciated the efforts of the students and their mothers and the event ended with the students discovering the hidden chefs within them and all thoroughly enjoyed the process of self discovery.

Success comes to those who have unquenchable desire, passion for working hard and most of all perseverance. It is also about taking up risks and not losing the opportunities which come along the way. CTPS had always believed in providing a platform to all its students so that they recognize their attributes and polish them.
Our students engaged themselves by practicing their subjects in the form of quizzes and games on LEAD School app. With tireless efforts, our school bagged First Position with total scores 3536900 in Practice with Friends quiz this week by beating Sant Baba Harnam Singh Khalsa Model School, Balachaur.
Honoring the tireless efforts of students, our Principal, Mr. Daljeet Singh, mentioned that there are no short cuts to success. Everyone has to go beyond their comfort zone to achieve the nectar of success.

Every labour who is working hard these days needs an applause because we depend for small little things on them they are the great heroes of today.
Tiny kids of CT kindergarten doing best of the activities at home to keep themselves busy. Children always enjoy doing different type of activities where they are involve and their work is is appreciated and recognised.
Children enthusiastically participate in all the activities and these things are very important for the children when the grow up because these are the small little life skills which are very important for the children in the later stages of life*
So learning never ends and children learn everyday only little motivation and appreciation is is important for them.

Color Fest Competition

Keeping the same ideal at the forefront, students of CT Public School ,participated in an Inter School Quiz competition conductued by CT university through online.
Continued with its winning streak, our students Manpreet and palika of X bagged the 2nd position 'in the Quiz Competition 'and win the cash prize of 500/-

Alphabet Recognition Activity
"Creativity is the way I share my soul with the world"
Alphabet Recognition is the knowledge of individual letter names, sounds, and shapes.
They help to form the basis of our language and communication for a lifetime. Learning the alphabet as the foundation of our spoken language gives us the advantage of knowing how letters and words are pronounced, how to think in a language, and how to spell in that language.
At CT Kindergarten School LKG children are tracing the alphabet from A-Z on the Flour/Salt/Sand tray with their finger.

Felicitations to LEAD Toppers

Today , On 25th April A convention was held by CT Public School with the first 50 toppers on lead app through online mode. Our worthy Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana extolled the students for their magnificent efforts on lead which is a recently launched programme in the school. Even he also apprised the students about how to maintain a healthy lifestyle during this pandemic by adopting various methods like walking, exercise, yoga etc.
Even these young talents shared their valuable experience that how they are going extra miles to get aquainted with new launch lead and even hitting jackpot with their tireless efforts by putting the school on No. 1 rank.
Even the parents came forward to show their contentment with the school faculty and lead app. At the end Principal Sir paid his gratitude towards all the parents , teachers and students to make the lead successful with their wonderful efforts.
