VIRTUAL PTM
PTM: THE VIRTUAL WAY
Parent-teacher meetings are a great way for parents and teachers to bond and cooperate with the sole intention of bettering the children. With more and more of our daily communication taking place digitally rather than face to face, the PTM has also taken a leap and embraced the virtual platform.
A virtual PTM was conducted by CT Public School on 12 th June to keep parents informed about their child’s progress, their child’s performance at academics, and at the same time, helping the teachers understand the child and help them improve in case they are lacking in any subject . The school was delighted to witness the synergy between parents and teachers making it a success. Virtual PTM has helped teachers and parents connect virtually to engage in a transparent and open discussion for the children’s better future.
CT appreciates the continuous support of the parent community. The online PTM is a great way for the school and the parents to effectively collaborate and work together to help children perform better in academics and in extra-curricular activities too.

MOTIVATIONAL SEMINAR
Motivation: The Key to Academic Success
People who make a difference in their own lives and the world , do so by following their passion. When curriculum is accompanied by passion it leads to wonders. With this view , CT Public School arranged a virtual motivational session on 9th June, 2021 , for the senior students. The presenter , Ms Amrit Kalsi , who herself is a source of motivation, gave encouraging examples from her own life to students and inspired them to become a self motivator. She discussed the importance of positive thinking and attitude which brings optimism into life and such constructive changes can make one brighter and more successful. The Principal Mr.Daljeet Rana showed his gratitude by saying that this session would help the students to be guided by a positive mind and driven by self motivation. Dance is type of Aerobics which keep our body fit and full of energy. Such form dance activities enhances the motion of the body and keeps the body healthy.Kids always enjoy music and dance because it challeises their engery level.

Virtual 17th Alumni Talk
Alumni meet was successfully conducted virtually over Zoom. It was a nostalgic experience for students to connect with their Alma mater. Our proud CTPIANS Devkaran, Hritik, Jaskaran, Subah Ghai, Kapish, Tarish alongwith Lead members Mr. Avinash and Ms. Kriti were also present in this alumni meet.
It is rightly said "Alumni is the true asset for an educational institution". The objective behind this meet is to connect with our old batch students and to know about their experiences. I hope it was an enriching experience for our students as well as they got a chance to revive their school memories. The session was conducted under the able guidance of Mr. Daljeet Rana (Principal Sir), Mr. Major from CT Global Services & Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur(Vice Principal). Online fun games can be a way to help supplement for child's learning and teach them key life skills .Provides a fun way to stay active.
Children enjoyed this activity with great fun. They participated enthusiastically In this activity the children were asked to dance on the paper along with the music whenever the music stopped they had to make a fold of the paper in this way the game went on and children enjoyed it.
In the second game children were asked to collect objects of red colour within the given period of time. The children had great fun in the online fun games activity.

Through this activity the students learnt the spirit of teamwork, culinary skills, appreciating the hard work put into cooking.
It was a great fun time for children to learn how to decorate biscuits with different toppings without fire.
Small quiz was conducted related to cooking material.
Children enjoyed and enthusiastically participated in this activity and relished the Monaco biscuit snacks made by them.

A webinar on Future in Hospitality was conducted by CTIHMCT for the students of CTPS. They were empowered about the bright career options available in the hospitality industry. Dr. Chef Varinder Singh Rana was the chief Spokesperson of the day. He shared that CTIHMCT offers excellent services to the students in the field of Hotel Management and Catering Technology. He was accompanied with Mr. Ashok Sharma, HOD, Department of Hotel Management.
The tourism and hospitality sector of our nation is growing successively and with it, the demand in the growth of the hotel industry. India is a popular travel destination and thus, the scope of pursuing hotel management has become clearer and more beneficial for students than before. Hotel management is one of the top preferences of students when it comes to pursuing a simple graduation after completing their school studies.
As the hotel industry is constantly growing, so is the need for hotel management professionals. With tourism increasing in India ever year, this demand is set to increase, which will give students pursuing this course a higher chance of placement in renowned companies. Ms. Simran Sood, Asst. Professor along with Ms. Kritika Aggarwal, proud alumni of CTPS shared their journey to becoming brand ambassador of CTIHMCT and encouraged students to take up this interesting, challenging and lucrative career.

Expert Session on Art & Craft
The arts is hands-on, has immediate rewards, focuses on positive achievements, develops concrete products and fosters collaboration. The arts provide many opportunities for students to demonstrate their skills through authentic performance. The arts enable children to grow in confidence and learn how to think positively about themselves and learning. Arts education helps make learning matter to students by giving them a medium to connect new knowledge to personal experiences and express what they have learned to others.
Today students of V&Vl and IX & X in two different slots attended a special art & Craft class with a renowned artist and all the students enjoyed the art and craft work . And he motivated the students to practice more and more and create new things. Under the guidance of kamalpreet mam who took an initiative to teach the children yoga which is very beneficial for the kids physical health and overall development.
Yoga is very beneficial for the kids as well as for adults because it creates mental peace mobilizes energy and and generates focus in the work. Such activities should be started at very tender age so, that the children are more focused towards studies .It is very beneficial activity it improves flexibility in the body.
Helps in weight reduction. Increases mobility in the body. Yoga helps in the respiration. It also helps to create a strong metabolism in the body and reduction in cardiac problems.The students were taught different kind of aasans like cow pose, mountain pose , tree pose, snake pose cow pose.
The children were very enthusiastic to learn such a wonderful activity which will enhance the mobility in their body and minds.

Seminar of Fashion Designing
A webinar on Fashion Designing was organised by CT Group of Institutions on 4th June. CT Group offers a great platform for young people who are interested in the Fashion Industry. Ms Ankita Kararia, from CT Group addressed the students and were apprised of the various career options available in this field.
Fashion designing is a latest craze among youngsters in India in the last few years and many are now considering it as a career choice and the demand for professionals who can design and create new garments, dresses and attires to cater to the tastes of people from different walks of life has increased incredibly.
A career in fashion designing is considered as financially rewarding and has become very popular with people with creative mindset. It is normally looked at as a field full of glamor, though the field is full of very intense competition and huge number of challenges as well. However, there is a wide scope of fashion designing in India as well as abroad. Fashion designing students enjoy a lot of choices once they complete their fashion designing professional studies.
There are multiple number of options available in fashion designing like research, designing, cloth production and textile designing, etc. There is also a huge scope of fashion designing in Canada, USA, UK and countries in the European Union.They are free to join garment manufacturing companies, fashion houses, export units etc. after the completion of their studies.
The scope of fashion technology is not only limited to garments. It covers many other aspects such as jewellery, accessories, footwear, etc.
The session was an insightful one and it is hoped that the children would benefit from it.
