PYTHON PROGRAMMING BY VII ADORABLE

Our school has taken a new initiative of CCS that is , Coding & Computational Skills in which our students are learning new programming language Python. Python is a powerful language for automation, game development, and web programming, and a great choice if you’re just starting to learn how to write code. Techno Minds of Grade VII Adorable have showcased their programming skills under the guidance of their CCS Mentor, Ms. Radhika Bhardwaj. Work of the students were appreciated by the Principal of the school, Mr. Daljeet Singh.

Discovery Super League
Students of CT Public School, Greater Kailash, Jalandhar,participated in Discovery School super league this year .Discovery super league is a national level Quiz Contest for the students of class 3rd to class 10th.
Principal Mr Daljit Rana and Vice Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur motivated the students to participate which will enhance the confidence and knowledge ability among the students.

Stock Exchange Participation
Stock exchange is a place where shares of pubic listed companies are traded. ... A stock exchange facilitates stock brokers to trade company stocks and other securities. A stock may be bought or sold only if it is listed on an exchange. Thus, it is the meeting place of the stock buyers and sellers.
Principal Mr. DALJEET RANA motivated the commerce students of +2 class to gain the practical knowledge and to widen up their mental horizons to face the challenges which they will be facing in the materialistic world.

Parent Teacher Meeting
A Parent Teacher Meeting was held in CT Kindergarten School on 23rd July, 2021 to discuss the performance of students with their parents after the First monthly Test.
The class teachers of to Pre- Nursery to UKG successfully conducted the P.T.M. for their respective sections, interacting with parents. Many points related to how the students can manage their time effectively and can ensure steady learning in the given situation, were discussed. Overall parents were very encouraging and supportive and were extremely appreciative of the efforts taken by the Management, our respected Principal Sir Mr.Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Mrs Sukhdeep Kaur and the teachers.
The students were welcomed with crowns and chocolates and they were very happy with such a warm welcome.
Parents acknowledged that teachers have
put in their sincere best in providing continuous guidance for their children.
They also appreciated the opportunities of the various activities and competitions that their ward gets to participate in, even during these times.
The credit for all the appreciation goes to our respected Principal Sir and Vice-Principal ma'am who have been a continuous motivating and guiding force for all of us. With their sincere guidance, we are able to strive for excellence. We are sincerely thankful for their constant support.

NEP SESSION
The National Education Policy is very promising and futuristic which takes into consideration that the first 1000 days are very crucial for the child.
Therefore, the right kind of early childhood environment is very important for each child. The gap between the existing learning outcomes and the outcomes which are actually required, must be bridged by undertaking major reforms that bring the highest quality, equity, and integrity into the system, right from early childhood care and education through higher education.

Session on Mutual Funds
Mutual funds are type of financial vehicle made up of a pool of money collected from many investors to invest in securities like stocks, bonds, money market instruments, and other assets. Each shareholder, therefore, participates proportionally in the gains or losses of the fund.
An interactive session was done today by Commerce Department with the guidance of Principal Mr. Daljeet Singh where he motivated the students to gain the practical knowledge and to widen up their mental horizons to face the challenges which they will be facing in the materialistic world. The session ends up with a positive note.

Session on Model United Nations
CT Public School organised a Virtual MUN session for its students
A session on Model United Nations, also known as Model UN, or MUN was organised by CT Public School on 5th July,2021 . Mr.Ati Priye, Director - planning and development and President- Institution Innovation Council was the resource person and the speaker of the day. After interacting with students on the history of the UN, he told them that this model is an educational simulation and academic activity in which students can learn about diplomacy, international relations, and the United Nations.
MUN involves and teaches participants research, speaking, debating, and writing skills, in addition to critical thinking, teamwork, and leadership abilities. Usually an extracurricular activity, some schools also offer Model UN as a class. It is meant to engage students and allow them to develop deeper understanding into current world issues.
Participants in Model United Nations conferences, known as delegates, are assigned countries before the conference, along with receiving a topic, or topics, that their committee will discuss. They conduct research before conferences, formulate position papers and come up with policy proposals that they will then debate with their fellow delegates in the committee, staying true to the actual position of the country or organization they represent.
At the end of a conference, the delegates vote on written policies, called “draft resolutions”, with the goal of passing them with a majority vote. The best-performing delegates in each committee, as well as delegations, are sometimes recognized with awards.
The world has become a global village and no age is too young to prepare for the future. For school students, a Model United Nations (MUN) conference serves as an ideal stepping stone into the global arena. The Principal,Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal, MD . Hon'ble Prime Minister of India
A virtual session on ,”Robotics and Innovation“was conducted by CT Public School on 2nd July,2021 with an aim to focus on design aspects of robotics, skill development and practical working knowledge. The aim of the session was to discover the genius within-children and to transform them into innovative, creative problem solvers and global citizens to become successful in this dynamic, technology driven society.
During this session, the students interacted with Dr.Harmeet Singh , Deputy Director IPR Cell, PhD in Bio robotics, Italy and Innovation ambassador who guided the students to refine the technologies developed by them. It also offered a healthy platform to forge collaborations in the critical fields like aerospace, robotics, critical infrastructure and disruptive technologies and utilization of research capabilities for fulfilling its innovative needs.
Mr. Daljeet Rana, the Principal of school, expounded that ATAL Laboratory is already established in school to provide the students with training and advanced tools to work on their projects. Research activities in the lab focus on new-generation mechatronics systems, smart sensors and embedded systems. The Vice Principal,Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur, further said that such a session is an ideal opportunity for any student with a knack to find technology-based solutions to India’s wide-ranging challenges that can be addressed by applying robotics.The school always puts in efforts in this field to establish expertise in real problems related to autonomous robotics.
. As a consequence, educational robotics labs are innovative tools that can help improve social and communication skills and increase inclusion and cohesion within a group.

Poster Making on International Day against Drug Abuse
In 1987, the United Nations General Assembly decided to observe *26th June as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking* as an expression of its determination to strengthen action and cooperation to achieve the goal of an international society free of drug abuse.
The theme for this year's International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking is *"Better Knowledge for Better Care”.* The theme emphasizes the need to improve the understanding of the world drug problem and how in turn, better knowledge will foster greater international cooperation for countering its impact on health, governance and security.
Proud students of CT Public School, made posters and spread awareness against the use of drugs.

YOGA DAY CELEBRATIONS
Yoga at Home and Yoga with Family
Amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, this year's International Day of Yoga was celebrated on digital platform by CT Public School with much fervour and enthusiasm on 21st June, 2021.
The excitement of the students as well as their parents was palpable on the screen as they geared up to celebrate this day in the guidance of Mr. Manjur Ahmed, the International Yoga trainer and Haryana Governor Awardee.
The innumerable benefits of practicing Yoga was explained to all the participants and parents. The boundless peace of doing the Asanas was amply visible right from the faces of the students.
The Principal Mr.Daljeet Rana thanked the resource person Mr. Manjur Ahmed on the behalf of the
CT Management and said that Yoga plays a crucial role in promoting health in a holistic manner by improving physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. He further added that Yoga can be termed as a one-size-fits-all solution to fight stress and also alleviate other ailments including depression and anxiety.
The Vice-Principal Ms.Sukhdeep Kaur urged all to mark this day by celebrating from home not only today but every day.

Father's Day celebrations by IT Students
Father's Day is a celebration honouring fathers and celebrating fatherhood, parental bonds and the role of fathers in shaping the lives of their children. IT Students of Grade IX celebrated the day in their own special way by making documents in which they shared their Super Hero's pictures and expressed feelings about their role model. The spirits of young students are not dampened during these unprecedented times ,as was evident from the way they celebrated Father's Day, depicting their unending love and gratitude for their fathers. CT kindergarten organised an online father's day a activity.Under the guidance of Principal Mr. Daljit Rana and Vice Principal Mrs. Sukhdeep Kaur Online father's day activity was conducted where fathers participated in different games and shared their experiences of fatherhood, some of the students also participated in this activity by narrating rhymes for their father.
For child giving gift to his father means a lot as he supports , loves and take care of him/her.Father acts as a guide, teacher, mentor for a child throughout the life.
So, it is a great day for a father and we should acknowledge him with great respect.

KUDOS TO PARTH VERMA
One of our young CTian, Parth Verma recently filed a patent for his recent project "Vehicle Ventilation Regulating System" . He is one of the youngest student to file a patent. A patent is the granting of a property right by a sovereign authority to an inventor. This grant provides the inventor exclusive rights to the patented process, design, or invention for a designated period in exchange for a comprehensive disclosure of the invention. The Principal of the school, Mr. Daljeet Singh appreciated the zeal and enthusiasm of young innovator.

CTPS- RECIPIENT OF CYBER SECURE SCHOOL CERTIFICATE
STUDENTS DIGITALLY EMPOWERED
The students of CT Public School participated in an online WCF CyberSmart quiz which enabled them to test themselves about their efficacy in using the digital platforms. These days, the young internet users sometimes fall prey to fraudulent operators and tend to fall into grave problems.
With more time being spent online, we need to protect our children and keep them safe online. WCF CyberSmart portal's objective is to keep children safe on the digital platforms. It is a free online gamified learning platform that uses thematic quiz-based modules. The portal offers age-appropriate learning journeys that are based on challenges that children and elders commonly encounter in cyberspace.
The students from grade 2 to 12 participated in this quiz and won certificates. This platform enriched and empowered them how to keep themselves safe from fallacious sites. With the successful participation in this quiz CT Public School has become CYBER SMART School.
