Result of Techno Day (Class VII)

IT Department of our school has organised Techno-Day on the occasion of World Student's Day to harness the creative and innovative spirit of children. The basic idea of celebrating Tech-Day is to promote originality, creativity and innovative spirit among our children so that when they become leaders of our society, they ensure an imaginative, inclusive and innovative future for the country. Students of Class VII participated in Poster Making on the topic "Achievements of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam" in which they participated with full zeal & enthusiasm. The result of the competition is as follows:-
First Position is bagged by Sihana (VIIA) & Shaina (VIIB), Harshita (VIIB) got Second position whereas Yuvraj Chadha (VIIA) & Ishmeet (VIIB) bagged Third position.
Participation certificates were given to Akshara (VIIB), Anuraag (VIIB), Gopal (VIIB), Pranaya (VIIB) for their creative work.

While appreciating the accomplishment of IT Department & students, Principal Mr. Daljeet Singh mentioned that it’s rightly said that take up one idea. Make that one idea your life–think of it, dream of it, and live on that idea. Let the brain, muscles, nerves, every part of your body, be full of that idea, and just leave every other idea behind. This is the secret the TEAM CTPS is following to core.

Young Readers

The School library is the place which is most planned, peaceful as well as relaxing, meant for reading books and informative materials to gain knowledge. It has a good collection of books related to various topics. Its main objective is to develop the habit of reading in students. It is helpful for staff, teachers, and children of the school. 
To inculcate the habits, the students of the school were issued books from the library and asked the students to give of the same after few days.
Principal of the school Mr. Daljeet Rana said, the library is a necessary entity of a school. It helps the children to gain knowledge by reading books there only or by borrowing them for studying. Students felt very happy & excited today while visiting library again after a long time.

Special Assembly- Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav

 Special Assembly was conducted in CT Public School to celebrate and remember the 75th years of India’s Independence. Students and Teachers also recalled the Freedom fighters of Punjab who sacrificed for India’s freedom.

Students of CT Public School also initiated in Thought of the day, Word of the day and also sang a song “Qadam Qadam Badhaye ja “. Moreover, Worthy Principal Sir Mr. Daljeet Rana also shared some Important information with the students. This Assembly was dedicated to the freedom fighters of India.

Transforming Millenials to Military Leaders

 A session was conducted today in CT Public School by Brigadier Vinod Dutta ( PH.D , MA , M.SC , LLB ,MBA, AMM, M.PHILL) who has served Indian Army at Senior Command Training and Operational logistics, he has served in Insurgency areas in Kashmir and North East , he has seen action in Kargil war. He impressed and inspired the students to become great leaders .

He also stressed the significance of evolving doctrine, force structures, technology and sustenance to create a future-ready military. It was quite informative and interactive session. The Principal Mr.Daljeet Rana thanked him for guiding the students.

session on Parenting

Good parenting involves a great deal of consistency and routine, which gives children a sense of control. ... That is, there is a match between expectations, discipline and resilience-building strategies and children's developmental age. Good parenting aims at socialising kids.

CT Public School organised session on Parenting exclusive with the support Mind Movers. This session begin with a very positive approach of looking after the kids during the pandemic time . The parents asked to act like kids. How do they react with the children when they do funny things at home. We hardly allow them to enjoy their childhood.

The parents were helped identify behaviour problem in them. They were also given the guidelines how to take care of their hairs and never use of word No The parents should make the children aware good brain development games. The session culminated with exchange of positive thought for the improvement of kids behaviour . Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person's character lies in their own hands.

Session by by Mr. Kavardeep Singh Bhatia

A session was conducted today in CT Public School by Mr. Kavardeep Singh Bhatia Managing Director of Mind Movers and Parenting Coach ,he started the session with positive energy .He talked about Various problems of kids and how a parent can overcome these difficulties .

He also stressed on Digital parenting ,Current style of parenting and how to engage kids effectively .Moreover ,he encouraged teachers to introduce Intellectual games like Sudoku, Ludo , word hunt any many more for the development of the kids .He also suggested some apps like Youtube kids , Duolingo and Lumosity Quick Math which are safer and better for their kids.It was quite informative and interactive session .

Techno Day Result (Class VIII)

The basic idea of celebrating Tech-Day is to promote originality, creativity and innovative spirit among our children so that when they become leaders of our society, they ensure an imaginative, inclusive and innovative future for the country. Students of Class VIII participated in PowerPoint Presentation on the topic "Latest Trends of Technology" in which they participated with full zeal & enthusiasm. The result of the competition is as follows:-

First Position is bagged by Prabhjot (VIIIA) & Harkirat (VIIIB),Tajveer (VIIIA) & Diksha(VIIIB) got Second position whereas Ekamjot (VIIIB) & Rajbir (VIIIB) bagged Third position.
Participation certificates were given to Balkaran (VIIIB) ,Kareena (VIIIB), Lavanya (VIIIA), Lavanya Verma (VIIIB), Muskaan (VIIIB), Pavneet (VIIIB) & Vaibhavi (VIIIB) for their creative work.

LEAD CHAMPIONSHIP

The main objective of the meeting was to create a common platform, where teachers and parents came together to discuss the benefits of Lead Championship. The Resource person Mr. Harvinder clarified all the doubts of the parents about the championship. The parents were also motivated to participate on the launch day. Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice-Principal Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur said that the progress and development of the students depend on the joint efforts of parents and teachers.

CTPS has always believed in providing a platform to all its students so that they recognize their attributes and polish them. Our students engaged themselves by practicing different topics of subjects in the form of quizzes and games on LEAD School app. The students are benefited from Practice with Friends and they are learning topics by competing with their friends and give challenges to them.Heartiest Congratulations to the students who receive certificate after doing consistent practice for their topics on Lead app.

The interaction between Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana and students

 The interaction between Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana and students of classes 1 to 8 of CT Public School was of the other level. The students were highly energetic and happy to talk to him. Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana said, I feel privileged to lead such an exciting and vibrant school, which offers great opportunities for the young people of Jalandhar. It is our goal to make each and every student to succeed. We offer our students the best possible opportunities to become confident, thoughtful young people who are prepared for any future challenges, in an exciting and increasingly global world. He also promised the students to give books which will inculcate the habit of reading in students. The students also discussed about their daily routine with him. Everyone was happy.

World White Cane Day

World White Cane Day is celebrated on October 15 to recognise the importance of white canes for blind people, who want to safely travel and maintain their independence. The day aims to recognise the active participation of blind people in society and celebrate their achievements. It is also known as White Cane Safety Day. The Students of CT Public School Successfully Participated in Poster Making Activity on World White Cane Day . Our School Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana and Vice Principal Ms. Sukhdeep kaur , Maths HOD Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shukla & Activity Incharge Ms Bhawna Arora appreciated their efforts.

Dussehra Celebrations

Victory of good over evil. ... Huge effigies of Ravana, his son Meghnath and brother Kumbhakarana are burnt to symbolise the victory of good over evil.

*The students of CT Kindergarten participated enthusiastically in the celebration of Dussehra* . Many people of the Hindu faith observe Dussehra through special prayer meetings and food offerings to the gods at home or in temples throughout India. They also hold outdoor fairs (melas) and large parades with effigies of Ravana (a mythical king of ancient Sri Lanka). The effigies are burnt on bonfires in the evening.

Dussehra signifies the victory of good over evil, truth over false and dharma over adharma. the dussehra festival inspire us to follow the path of dharma (righteousness) and truth. ... it is also called as vijayadashami or durgotsav, as this day also marks the victory of goddess durga over the demon mahishasur.

To commemorate the Birth Anniversary of our Former President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, our school is organising Techno-Day to harness the creative and innovative spirit of children. Students are invited to send their original and creative Posters/ Article/ PowerPoint Presentation on life and contribution of Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam.

The basic idea of this day is to promote originality, creativity and innovative spirit among our children so that when they become leaders of our society, they ensure an imaginative, inclusive and innovative future for the country. Merit Certificates will be given to First 3 toppers. Participation certificates will be provided to all the participants.

Certified Vedic Math Workshop

" Dreams become a reality when pursued with dedication and determination. "

30 Students From CT Public School Jalandhar Completed their Certified Vedic Math Workshop. All the students were awarded A+ /A grade based on their Assessment test after Workshop . Students were elated to get Vedic Math Certificates & thanks management of CTPS for providing this wonderful opportunity to enhance their Mathematical Skills. Congratulations to Principal Mr. Daljeet Rana , Vice Principal Ms. Sukhdeep Kaur & Maths HOD Mr. Rajesh Kumar Shukla whose laborious efforts bore fruit.

Parent Teacher Meeting

Parent Teacher Meeting for classes I to VIII was held on 12th October 2021 to discuss the performance of students with their parents. Parents were given feedback on their ward’s performances of Mid Term Exam 2021.
It was a great interaction between the teacher and the parents for the development of their children where they discussed both the strengths and areas of improvements. The progress reports were shown to the parents and their suggestions were noted.

The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that joint effort, mutual understanding and co-operation of parents and teachers is very important for the proper nourishment and progress of students.
