CT Kindergarten Regale on Sports Day

The teeny-weenies of CT Kindergarten had an exuberant sports cum annual prize distribution day on 7th February. An air of zeal, excitement and sportive atmosphere predominated the campus of CT Public School. About 200 students participated in this event. The programme commenced with a mellifluous welcome song by the students of UKG. 

The Chief Guest, Mrs. Parminder Kaur Channi, Co-Chairperson, CT Group & Mrs. Tanika Singh, Treasurer, CT Group; graced the occasion with their benign presence. In her address, Mrs. Channi applauded the efforts of the staff for their strenuous efforts in grooming the personalities of the little children. 

The students displayed a multitude of activities and impressed the audience with their innocence and ingenuity. There were a number of races like tricycle race, hurdles, cap-race, hopping-race, mask - race etc. 

The students of UKG class mesmerized the audience with their dance performance. Some students were garbed in the attire of Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest ever Nobel Prize laureate. She is known for human rights advocacy for education and for women in the Swat Valley of Pakistan. 

Some students were attired as politicians and urged the audience to vote for them. Similarly some were impersonating Mother Teresa and  various sports personalities, conveying the message of service to mankind and the importance of sports, respectively. 

Apart from sports and cultural activities, students were appreciated for their academic excellence. Special appreciation medallions were endowed to students for their marvellous performance in various fields. 

The best dancer award  was conferred to Eknoor of Nursery and Ekamjot of LKG. The best artist award was given to Sukhreet and Srishti of UKG. Divyansh Raj of LKG bagged the best orator award. The best instrumentalist award was given to Anaya and Bhavin of UKG class. Moreover,there were awards for good manners, confidence, punctuality, active participation and helpful nature. The Management of CT Group congratulated the awardees and urged everybody to participate in sports and other activities for their general well-being.
