A Myriad of Activities Take Place in CT Public School

 CT Public School was teeming with great zeal, excitement and frolicsome atmosphere on 30^th and 31^st January with the celebration of Sports Day and Annual Prize Distribution Extravaganza. Almost 800 students participated in this event. The programme commenced with a euphorious welcome song by students of grade II. 

The Chief Guest Mr. Charanjit Singh Channi, Chairman, CT Group, adorned the occasion with his presence. In his address, he eulogized the stupendous efforts of the teachers for their effort in bringing about the overall personality and charisma of a child. 

The students displayed a wide array of vibrant and exuberant dances, songs, yoga and drills and mesmerized the audience with their stupendous performance. The parents and teachers replenished their lives with childhood activity by tuning in with their children and participating in ‘Matka Race.’

Apart from the sports and cultural junctures, the students were awarded for their academic excellence.  Special appreciation medallions were adorned to students for their incredible efficacy in various fields also.

The award for the best singer in the juniors category was awarded to Nikita while in the seniors, Simranjeet  Kaur  was chosen. In dance, Diya was considered the best in the juniors category while in the seniors, it was Ishanika. Samarth Sharma bagged the best artist award in the juniors category while Mohit took this award in the seniors category. Rashi Singh was bestowed with a special award for her contribution in art. The award for the best orator was dispensed to Shreya Thakur in the juniors group while Pragya Singh walked away with this award in the seniors category. The award for the best dramatist of the school was handed to Disha from the juniors category while in the seniors category Ananya Sachdeva was meted out with this award. Manmeet Singh of grade XII and Saurav of grade XI from the science stream were acclaimed with the title STUDENT of the YEAR for their predominance in academics and co-curricular activities. The trophy for the best house in academics was conferred to Marigold House while Rose and Jasmine House entered into a tie for their claim for the best house in activities. 

The Management of CT Group congratulated the awardees and motivated everyone to work as a team and showcase their potentiality for the welfare of all.
