The tiny tots of CT Kindergarten celebrated Earth Day on 22nd April’13. The children were enlightened about the importance of mother earth and their responsibility towards her. They were told about the deteriorating condition of the environment and the need of the hour was to awaken the society to protect and save the earth through a story. A smart quiz was conducted on the occasion to enlighten the children about the sick planet and our role in protecting and securing it. The children gave their palm impressions on a painting of the Earth to depict to the world their solemn promise to save the Mother Earth. The colours used by them were mostly green, blue and brown (yellow) as they are the prominent colours of the earth. The whole Kindergarten took PLEDGE on this day. The students were distributed the GREEN RIBBONS on their shirts to spread the message SAVE ENVIRONMENT. The Principal of the school Mrs. Ranjana Rajput was greatly impressed by the kind and loving gesture of the little owes towards their planet and also expressed her concerns about the degrading state of the environment.
